Oh, neat! I love that, since they just HAVE to give out unwanted DVDs with these, they are at least not covering the ponies now.

Isn't this the line that we were hoping would be those translucent ponies though?

I must agree though they are much better packed than the original releases, a lot less waste

I do want Twilight's glasses though, with a few modifications they'd be perfect replacements for RJ's snapped ones.

It's nice that they all have different backgrounds on the back of the cards.
Though i can't say i'm really sold on these new packages. I get this kind of "cheap packaging for cheap toys" vibe. But at least they will be really easy to open.

Sadly, they're not Ghoulia's otherwise we had a whole assortment of glasses for pones. ;_;
They're from a Blythe 's Littlest pets shop set. I love using littlest pet shop items on ponies, they usually seem to work pretty well!

Now I want to buy another pair of these glasses and paint them for Rarity.. Thanks for giving me ideas, haha.

Plus, less packaging = less plastic in the landfill! 

And finally, Hasbro, a GREAT way to include the DVD with the product!  Much better this time around!

Another fan of the new packaging here, looks much less tedious! I think I'll pass on this wave, but I like how they made the accessories suit the ponies a bit more. I'll never understand why the riding along/scooter friends sets gave Rarity a crash helmet and Rainbow Dash a bright pink visor...
