Those look so much better! A lot of the changes aren’t even that drastic, I doubt it would cost hasbro much more to put a little more effort in, but what do I know

Their hair! It’s absolutely so soft and shiny
The plastic they used is also so smooth and nice to the touch, i’m not sure if that’s what the G1 ponies were like new since I wasn’t alive in the 80s?
The pony I bought from the set was Snuzzle and it’s nice to see how much her symbol colour pops from her grey body when it’s so bright and new!
I also wasn’t aware that Windy was purple until I saw this set LOL
She looks so nice with her fresh purple body

Started working on both of these! :^) Just a heads up i’m not sure how long it’ll take me though since I am pretty bad at drawing equines right now haha, thank you both for the chance to practice!

Yeah it really is frustrating... I haven’t had any problems with local mail so far but it is a huge mess when it comes to international mail especially. I hope you can at least have a nice Christmas in February  It really feels like Canada’s whole postal system needs a lot of work, even without the strike it’s quite a bit slower than US mail, and almost always more than double the price even for small things. Why are they doing this in the first place? Not getting paid enough? That is why most of them go on strike over pay!
I haven’t personally looked too much into it, but from what i’ve heard a lot of them are forced to work overtime and a lot of them get injuries from the amount of parcel mail they’ve been getting as of late with letter mail becoming less and less popular and apparently Canada Post is absolutely unprepared for it? Though I only heard this third person so not sure

Update on my update! I went back to the thrift store because I realized I had seen something I didn’t recognize at first: Spoiler SEAPONY FLOATIES!  visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThey were in a bag of baby teething toys.... I’m really glad no baby got to them, I doubt that plastic is baby safe for one thing....

Thank you! She really is! I hadn’t seen the chartreuse hair colour in person before I got her and it really is magic looking (fingers crossed it doesn’t stain more than it already has though  )

Not sure if the right thing would be to make a new post, please forgive me if it is but: bumping to say I found 5 more G1 ponies (and one G2 mcdonald’s pony) at the same thrift store!! As soon as I saw the beddy bye eyes I nearly had a heart attack (and not out of fear LOL) I’m still so shocked

Thank you! I plan on posting once a week and hopefully will learn more about better editing and whatever p ( pixels) means as in 720p and how adjust it.
The p in 720p stands for progressive scan, the other mode is interlaced which shows up as an i like 1080i. I don’t think it’s too important to understand the specifics of that though when it comes to uploading videos (not that I know very much about video editing) I think 1080p is ideal for uploading to youtube since that’s what counts as full HD. Usually you can get more options if you edit with a computer program as opposed to an app.

Hi! I’ve been sketching a lot of ponies lately, but I’ve had a bit of performance anxiety when it comes to finishing any of the sketches, I feel like drawing for others is a good way to break the art block, so I’m open to a few requests! I don’t have any examples right now but the drawings will likely be drawn traditionally and coloured digitally. If you have a ref it would be helpful, but I can draw from description as well (I hope this is the right board since these aren’t exactly adoptables…)

These are so nice!! The Magic Meadow drawings make me like that line of toys a bit better, the drawings remind me of moomins, they're so cute
