hey guys. I'm having a terrible time with normal monster high stands damaging delicate custom outfits because of their tightness. I really prefer the saddle stands I've seen that rest between a dolls legs, and hold her up by cupping under her belly and back...Does anyone know if these stands can be purchased in a size appropriate for monster high dolls? Or perhaps if you know of another style doll stand that doesn't require the stand to rest at the dolls waist that might work? any info would be helpful, thanks!

Blythe or Pullip stands might work? They both go around the waist, but they don't 'clip' like the MH ones do. Pullips also come in a range of funky colours :D

I know Hobby Link Japan has bunches of differently coloured stands but most, if not all, go around the waist. :(

I wish the Monster High stands were a little more stable. >.<;;; Abbey's stand can't support her. I like displaying my dolls in unique poses, but I have problems doing this due to instability of the stand.

I Googled "saddle type doll stands" and came up with these two links off the top.  Quite a price difference between the two.  I know nothing about them so I can't tell you if either of them are any good.  Good luck in your search.

Unfortunately the one from Volks above will be WAY too big for a Monster High doll. That's a MSD size stand which means it's made for a doll of about 45cm in height.

I did find this one on ebay though. it's made for 1/6 scale dolls, but I think it would fit a MH just fine.

MH doll stands are so frustrating, I can't tell you how many times I put a doll in mine and move it just slightly only to have the whole thing collapse! I wish I could find some alternative stands too just for the sake of not having to use the ones they come with
