Nooooo. Someone needs to buy the Liv dolls I have for sale!

I haven't seen them in stores since before Christmas, so I figured they were already phased out...

I would if I could! xD

But urg. I'm gonna go sob and pout. 4 year old reactions to my toys being taken away, awwww yeah.

This month has been lots of good things/good news and now this. D:
This is pretty much what I pictured when you said that..

I feel the same way about toys, though. If I can't find them or a scalper gets them, I'm a pouty Chi. :c

I wasn't really a liv fan, I didn't like their faces at aalll, but everything else about them was awesome, and I wish toy companies would understand that articulated dolls are a GOOD thing. I don't know about other kids, but I remember wishing my barbies could move better. I would have killed for some livs and MH when I was little.
Wtf, Spin Master.

Well, at least those La Dee Da things have cute wardrobes, I wonder what their clothes will fit. :/

That is exactly the face I made too. xD

Urg, I know right Suni? My favorite Barbies when I was little were the jointed ones. I shunned most of my non-jointed Barbies. And I thought toys were heading in the jointed direction, with MH and Liv and some random dolls I see while browsing the toy section. Don't take a step back!

Their clothes are cute but I just can't like them. Who do they think they are, trying to replace Livs? They will never be as good! D< Lol.
If their clothes fit Pullips maybe I'll ask for some for holidays and just give the dolls to a kid.

After they stepped back from their articulation standards, that's when I knew that the company wasn't serious about the line anymore. Luckily, I'm not interested in having all of the complete sets, but there are more pieces I would still like to own.

Time to bring out my old master list and start hunting them down. You just know that when the dust settles and the last few leave the store shelves that the internet sellers are going to be sitting on obnoxious prices. Best to get while the getting is good.

Eye issues? I hadn't heard of this, tell?

Misplacing the eyes and causing some of the dolls to be slightly cross eyed. ;[

Looks like it's the same everywhere then. ;[ It was nice while it lasted. Bleh.

And the thing that bugs me is out of all the places to remove articulation they chose the arms. While it is nice they can sit they aren't as expressive with stiff arms. The good news is the Cutie Pops by Jada seem like they will have articulated bodies.

If their clothes fit Pullips maybe I'll ask for some for holidays and just give the dolls to a kid.

Just offer them here. There must be someone here who might at least be interested in the heads to put them on a more articulated body. Maybe you can even get some new ponies out of it.

They seem to be fairly common at Savers.

Isn't there any kind of thrift store that sells toys near you?

I only found the few I have by accident the other week. I mainly picked them up because someone here might want them. (Besides the wigs, which I was going to use for my MH CAMs, but I didn't like the way the wig caps were. The plastic caps annoy me, I'd rather have stretch fabric)

So, I'm basically just selling them what it cost me. (Except for taxes. It's just a couple dollars) There were a couple of those sets with the Liv's with colour change hair or whatever it is. I think they were on sale for 7$ or sommat. It was very slim pickin's.  :satisfied:

Hmmmm. I work at Target, and we still have Liv dolls at regular price. But I haven't seen any Livs at Wal-Mart for a long time.

I am wondering where are the wigs that were on the back of the last batch of Liv dolls. There was a light purple with a hair bow, a blonde with aqua streaks, another blonde with orange streaks, and a brown with a bun with chopsticks in it. There were also two "normal" wigs but I don't remember what colors they were.
