Bye bye Liv Dolls?

Perhaps I'm out of the loop.

Are Liv dolls ending their run? I've noticed at my local toy stores (and isles) everything is on clearance and moved to end caps from their normal placement. I know there were the eye issues.. but I'm sad to see this. They had some of my favorite clothes.

Anyone know? Experiencing  the same thing in your area?

I'll be sad at losing the clothes. They are amazing on pullips.

I don't know if there run is over. I know that some stores around my area don't even sell them anymore.

I hope they're not. I don't collect them, but I do really like their wigs.

Also... considering the most recent Liv releases did not have articulated arms, I have a feeling the line is killing itself.

I just recently got into them so I don't know what's normal for them at stores around here, but Target and Fred Meyer both had decent sales going for them. I really hope I can get all the clothes/wigs I want and a few more girls before the line dies.

They're amazing dolls, and its a shame they decided to shoot themselves in the foot like Suni mentioned.

lol Taxel, I love we both gotten into them about the same time.

When I go searching for them, I see the: Spa dolls, Living Color dolls, The twist and dance dolls and Target's exclusive Bright Shines. Rarely I see the Making Waves and It's My Nature Sophie.

But yeah, as sad as it sounds, They're slowly starting to fade away. >,<;

Nothing good or new has been released in a while, and not only that, I tried to go to the spin master site to see if they sold Liv dolls, they removed the site. Sure the site itself is still existent, but when the manufacturing site removed them from the site. I think they're just leaving them high and dry till everyone just forgets about them.

The site hasn't been updated, and the webisodes on Youtube stopped. I don't want them to stop yet!! I still need to complete the School's Out set!!

I wish there's a way we could revive the Liv Line.

Spinmaster has a new line coming to replace Liv. They look like they will be cute but it also seems they are continuing the stiff elbows with them.

I only see the Spa Dolls and the ugly singles without bending arms. Don't even care enough to remember their name, lol.

That is so insanely disappointing. Liv dolls are amazing. At least I know I need to change what I had planned to spend my birthday money on.


And those La Dee Da dolls are HORRIBLE!!! They're cute but they look like another Bratz clone/typical girly doll. Incredibly disappointing. :/

The dolls themselves look better than what the art hints at. They have a sweet face and remind me a bit of Pullips.

Yup, unless another doll line starts having wigs since it appears the La Dee Da dolls are rooted. And once the Liv wigs are gone we are going to have to start depending on more expensive BJD wigs.

As for these Ladeeda's. They look like Kid friendly and Kid affordable Pullips or something. I do not know what to say about them.

I don't really know what to say about them either.. I can't really say I like their faces as much as Liv dolls, but I hope their clothing is the same size since the outfits are pretty cute!

I was just going to try and get into Liv! GAH! Guess it's better I didn't after all. The Ladeeda's are outrageously cute, but Liv was so much better looking. *sigh*
