i'm a little confused...

The date stamp on your first ebay message to the seller is Jan-18-16 15:21:26 PST and the date on your final message to the seller
is Jan 18-16 17:43:32 PST. Just 2 hours and 20 odd minutes apart? You made it seem like this was going on over a day or so, not a couple hours...

hey all!! long time no post!!

anyways, i picked up a giant g3 frilly frocks from a local auction site for $6.50. she is in way rougher shape than i thought, and a lot grubbier. she has quite a few stitched up holes, and is a very dingy off white.

her leg poles are broken and in weird places  so i was thinking of removing the poles, destuffing, repairing the holes properly from the inside, and washing the outer in the machine after a good long soak.

has anyone done this? will it ruin the tail and mane or cause it to fall out? am i likely to completely ruin her if i try?

thanks in advance for any tips and advice!!

lol, i've done it once before... i cover the books in white self adhesive, print out some pony pics, cut and paste them onto the books then cover with clear self adhesive :) a lot of stuffing around, but my miss 6 will be so happy

These, or something very similar are also available in Australia at The Reject Shop. AUD 6 each.

Thanks! I'll check that out - and probably Aldi too just-in-case!

Never seen them at the reject shop, but Kmart def sells them :) pity you are so far from me, I have 3 that I no longer use!!

It was cloudy here :( I saw it for a brief second, ran to wake the kids up (at 10:15pm - mother of the year here ) but it had disappeared behind cloud by the time we got back out.
It wasn't red, but I could see the eclipse part of it. We went for a drive about 9 o'clock to get away from the town lights, and a friend who lives that way said she could see it perfectly about 10 minutes after we left that area.
Oh well!! Maybe next time :D

It's 7:15pm here and they just said on the news that it's starting about now!! But as we are in dumb daylight savings, it's still broad daylight!! The clouds are a funky pinky orangey colour though, not sure if that has anything to do with it :)

I'm still debating whether to let the kids stay up till 9.30 to see it or not. It's cloudy here at the mo, so will wait till dark time and see :)

better 9:30 then dragging our butts up at 3:30 am. wanna switch?  :silly:

No thanks!! I'll see if I can get some pics if it's not too cloudy. My weather app is saying mostly clear!!
