So Hathorcat and I did a trade. She wanted a barrette that I had, and I just linked her to my want list. She worked MAGIC I tell you.
I actually received the box last Monday, but today is my birthday and I knew that my parents would be giving me money (with it being January I am very skint!), so I kept the box closed to give me a present to open. I did know which ponies were inside the box, but that didn't stop opening it being exciting!
Just so we're clear, the barrette in question came with a Dutch pony, is very rare and about one pops up a year. I didn't totally scam her for a pretty up's barrette, but Cat has given me so much and I am just thrilled to pieces!
Without further ado, inside the box were:

Perfect as anything too. My Perfume Puffs are now complete, and I am (I think) 2 away from completing my TAFs. Daisy Dreams and Sweetie Swirl bring me that bit closer to catching up on the G4s. I am super pleased and Cat is just amazing!
With it being my birthday, I also got other presents. I got the G4 2013 annual from my boyfriend, and my sister made me these:

I will have to eat them at some point, but for now I'm content to look at them! I also got this fellow from my auntie and her family, he's part of a range which you can customise by adding in a name badge - they do do a Katiedactyl but I've named him Dax. I have to share because he's so cute!

Lochness - that barrette was in the attic with my other loose accessories so I was more than happy to trade it for ponies, especially these ponies! ;)

*giggle*...everyone knows I am nuts on accessories I guess and I am still jumping up and down in delight that Daffy managed to find the barrette and was kind enough to pm me to say she had it for trade!

I know, right? I bought a Red Roses for a trade partner and I don't even have her in my own collection yet... but it's worth it if you know that is is going to make someone's day. I always try to remind myself, "They're only ponies and they don't care one way or another, but blessing someone else... well, you can't put a price tag on that." ^.^

I know! I was telling my mom I would never buy a really expensive pony for myself, but I would buy it for someone else in a heartbeat! It gives me more joy to give someone a pony they really want than to keep it for myself ^.^

The reason I didn't have RR was that I couldn't justify her price tag for myself, but in a trade, I'd happily have done the same! :)
