I am very happy with the new G5 release! It's nice to see a new character and as far as I can tell, the quality seems decent.

The Sunny and Sparky, however, I couldn't care less about.

I didn't even realize that Sparky was there till you said something. I really dislike that ugly little beast.

I like the colors.

If you took off the ears, the dragon would look a lot better.

I know the hair is supposed to be reminiscent of the Pony Friends and Pretty Pals, but manes don't belong on every animal.

Blaize would make a good friend for the baby dragons and Cutiesaurus.

 Looks like the horns might be two-toned?

Yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of Sparky, either.

I'm neutral about her colour scheme. Pink featuring heavily isn't really to my taste, but I don't mind it. I actually like her ears, personally! They're a nice detail. I agree that the mane is a little strange. I don't mind dragons having manes, but I'd prefer it if they were kept short and not too horse-like, except in maybe the odd case, but nothing with a body like a traditional western dragon. Lung dragons are often depicted with manes, and those manes look fine and even appealing to me; Blaize's mane, however, is a little too horse/human-like for my taste, especially on the toy.

I'd guess that she was given a mane specifically so that she could be made into a brushable, as presumably those sell better, rather than being in reference to Pony Friends, but I'm not sure.

It's a little difficult to tell, but I don't think that her horns are two-toned (as much as they should be). It would be nice if the toys had the same detailing as their show equivalents.

I'm dying, sobbing, rolling on the ground, Hasbro. Minty with textured hair, now dragons.
I just can't deal with jointed, skinny ponies... But for these, am I going to break...? I'm already being a hypocrite for loving G2....
Is this... Going to be the end of me....

Dragon pony!! Normally I’m not a huge fan of non pony characters, but the dragon is pony looking enough that I’m tempted! The little Sparky is kinda cute too.

I've still not watched much G5 media so I'm not familiar with the dragon character, but I love the idea of a dragon brushable, that's very cool. It's always nice to see new characters given toys in general. Good to see a bit more variety, but it's frustrating how often Hasbro will package a new character in a multi-pack with a main cast character.
