Also - bought a new CREAM carpet for my bedroom today (how decadent) they are delivering + fitting it Monday. Yay new room!
Will be selling the house soon so as long as it stays looking clean + lovely until sold, I'm happy

My record player arrived this morning, my records have been playing nonstop since 10 this morning.


It's a beautiful day out today too, it feels like summer

Last night my 2-yr-old nephew tried to make the dinosaur on my shirt eat some of his apple.  He held the apple up to my shirt and went "chomp chomp chomp."  Then he let me snuggle with him while we watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.


Since I'm out recovering from surgery, one of my co-workers texted me today and told me that work wasn't as much fun without me there.

A few things:

I'm taking steroids to alleviate my chronic foot pain. I'm afraid I have been surviving on them since December. When they wear out, I'm in pain and can't walk well again. =(

Grape sparkling water! I have been wanting this flavor since I switched to sparkling water a few years back. I have finally found it! And it is good.

The weather. It stayed in the 40s today, without a peak of sunshine. Very thankful we were on the cool side of the system, seeing as the warm side got tornadoes. Last night and tonight are nights I get to sleep under all of my covers without sweating and I love it! I have to wear layers indoors (it already hit near 90 degrees earlier this week, so the heat was turned off and the air turned on), but that's sooo much better than being hot!

Relaxing under a duvet on the sofa, watching geeky things on Youtube and a cup of strong tea with a hot cross bun. Perfect way to do a lazy Sunday!

I got to see some wild snow drop flowers, and we have two pairs of house finches this year.

Boot sale! Scored a bag of 30+ blind bag G4 and 3 wee breezies for £3 plus the blue G4 with cherry muffin cake symbols for 50p woo hoo!

My mom and I were looking through my grandpa's old coins today, and we found a 1944 wheat penny!

I woke up around 10 minutes before my alarm and our kitten were sleeping next to me. She also woke and wanted cuddles so we just snuggled with each other and then the alarm went off. It starts quietly with birds chirping before a melody goes on, and the kitten got up all excited and ran towards my cellphone looking for the birds. I almost felt bad for turning the alarm off .

I found some CD-R discs at Walmart that look like Vinyl Records.  They're so cute!
