Welcome to the Arena! I'm not certain what you mean by pink highlighter in this case, but assuming you mean literal pink highlighters, as far as I am aware, there is no need to separate them.

Thank you so much!

Introductions / New to collecting My Little Pony :)

Hello! I am a new collector. I had My Little Pony as a little girl (G1) and loved them, and I have just started my journey as an adult collector. I have started off with the 40th anniversary ones, and a few used ones in good condition that I just had to have! I am collecting the G1 style ponies, as I am mostly enjoying them from a nostalgic perspective, so I don't plan on having a huge collection (I know, don't we all say that stuff when we first start out!)

I came here to make new friends and to learn more about everything, and make sure I take care of my ponies properly, as well as get info on how to fix issues or restore them, if necessary. I did notice that one of the ones I just got has the "pink highlighter" spots on one foot, and wondered if perhaps she should be quarantined from the rest of my collection? If anyone has the answer or advice, please let me know!

I collect a lot of different things (other dolls, Harry Potter, horror collectibles, music) and I want to make sure that I know everything MLP so I can keep my collection safe and in good "health". I look forward to meeting other collectors and having lots of fun while I learn all about everything MLP!
