You're welcome! I have a friend who was allergic to nuts and the banana bread was a bit blah without something so I played with it a few times before trying toasted oats.
Tonight's meal- Baked Tandoori chicken (masala/ yogurt marinade)
Veggie/ paneer curry (garlic, onions, celery, carrots, zucchini, mushrooms, red bell pepper, sweet potato and califlower- spicy yellow curry sauce) and basamati rice with saffron.
Not bad, I'd eat it again. The kids liked the chicken and rice, don't know about if they liked the curried veggies and paneer. (I love paneer, it's a cheese that squeaks when you chew it!)

The early ones bring me the most joy, as I grew up a military brat and moved every two years. I got FF Butterscotch for Christmas when I was 4. (I really wanted the My Pretty Pony and beautiful baby that was advertised in the Sears Catalog but they didn't actually put it out or didn't have it so my Mom got Butterscotch which was the beautiful baby in the ad.)
In Arizona on a road trip to California I got Sunbeam and Twilight. I got Moondancer and Glory for one birthday.

Hey AnnaPommes, just a suggestion to try with the rolled oats! Toast them in a dry pan over medium heat, stirring frequently just like you would with nuts. It gives them a nuttiness that works well in banana bread.

It just dawned on me that Easter is in 11 days. Can't order stuff online because it would take too long to get here. I am going to have to go to the store soon anyway, so I'll be able to get some stuff (hopefully.)
You may think that as teens they'd understand if I blew it off but this is the last year with both kids. My oldest will miss out on so much this year so I feel like making a bit of effort to let him be a kid for a few more months.

Not mentioned but my favorite is Sniffles and Snookums. Pink and purple baby unicorns! I sold mine recently and didn't realize how much I liked them till I boxed them up to ship off to their new owner!
I did like Sandcastle and Shovels too, their colors were awesome!

My favorite is one I'll never have but Italian Blue Posey just does it for me! I have my childhood Posey and have loved her since I got her, but the contrast of that pink hair and symbol on that shade of blue...sigh.

I'm in Austin Tx. 79 cases in my county, 566 in the state. Austin will likely order shelter in place tomorrow but there is not going to be a statewide order till it gets worse.
Out schools are preparing to go online after an extended spring break, which is now till April 6th.
Restaurants closed for dine in. Bars and clubs closed on 3/17 at noon. Good call except for the fact that the restaurants had already begun food prep for the day.
Stores have been picked over for weeks but HEB is doing a great job trying to keep shelves stocked. As of yesterday, they were only allowing 20 people in the store at one time. Many items had limits if they did have it. 2 milk products, 2 cartons of eggs, 8 canned soup or canned meat products.
For the most part, my neighborhood has been pretty supportive and offering to help the older people shop or someone was offering up her chickens eggs. I even saw a woman come into the pharmacy looking for alcohol to make hand sanitizer, but they were out. Another woman pulled out a small one from her purse and offered it to the lady! It was sweet.

I'm going to make pita bread today! Yeast has been super hard to find but I tried the Indian grocery store and got two boxes.
I made a sourdough starter as well which will be ready in a few days.
I'm also going to try some different recipes for pizza dough as the one I've made before is just ok, not great. I'm also going to try a sourdough pizza crust when it's ready!
I had gotten a 25 pound bag of flour at Christmas and my family was questioning my sanity but now that it's so hard to find baking supplies they are thrilled!

Sea wees, I had all the Tropicgals and Icygals and most Mom and Baby sets
Shimmers, Just sold the last set but used to have each set they made
Strawberry Shortcake, All originals with pets plus the villans and the gazebo set
Monster High, mostly signature wave one and a few SDCC
LPS, originally got these for the kids. They've outgrown them and there are so many it's hard to organize them to sell.
Tiny things, I have a tiny quarter, a tiny shell, a tiny glass ball I found inside a shell, stuff like that.
Cabbage Patch kids, I have like ten plus all the little ones with the wall hanging things. I also have the carrier, diaper bag and sleeping bag.
I'm currently selling the majority of my collections and just keeping my childhood and early ponies that I really love.

Container gardening from kitchen scraps (green onions are super easy) but I'm also collecting seeds from bell and serrano peppers as I use them.
Taught my kid how to properly fold a fitted sheet!
Made sourdough starter, won't be ready for a week or so.
Sorted my prismacolor collection by colors and actually colored in my coloring book!
List stuff on eBay (I do wipe it down with clorox wipes and let dry before shipping)
Creating fun snacks for the hamster and rat, (why yes, I did make tiny breakfast tacos for them! )
Planning on making cardboard furniture/maze for rat cage.
Listen to my husband on conference calls and listen to him vent afterward.
Read. I have 1984 that I've never read and also Fall or Dodge in Hell.
Keep my kids fed and from driving each other crazy, also trying to calm my 17 year old down as he was supposed to graduate and go off to school but hasn't been accepted anywhere. How does he move out if he can't get a job or go to school?
Writing letters to my husbands Grandmother. The youngest is sending a card and I'm doing a penpal type letter. Thinking there may be other people stuck in nursing homes who are feeling more isolated so I thought this morning that I may call and ask for names of people who might appreciate a letter or card, even from a stranger. Plus thank you notes for caretakers right now! They are having to keep up the spirits of the people living there whose families can't visit right now.

My rat, Ghoul, was scheduled to have an abscess removed from her face this morning and when I got her into her travel crate, I noticed it was completely gone! Saved $95!

My oldest son has had his SAT's cancelled/ rescheduled to whenever, his HS graduation is currently cancelled and his graduation trip he's saved up years for to New Zealand looks like it's not going to happen this summer.
We had planned to move but now we're likely to stay here for a while and home values are likely to tank meaning the equity we hoped to get from the sale of this house wont' be nearly enough to buy a decent place when we do move.
