Hi everypony!
I would like to introduce Integrity. She is my first full custom. (I have done a few practice paint projects and a g4 custom without hair, but she is my first full one.)
She is based on American Heritage Girls, a scouting program for girls ages 5-18 which has been very influential in my life.

Her symbol is the AHG logo, and her name comes from thier mission "Building women of integrity."
Her hair is Cherry pie, and a blend of After Midnight and Lapis Sapphire from Dolly Hair.
I painted her with el-cheapo acrylics from Walmart and sealed her with matt mod podge.

One more, a close up on the symbol. I added some little rhinestones in the swirls. Sorry it's a bit out of focus, I have a new camera and have trouble getting the whole thing in focus and getting a close up.  I also have no idea why it is sideways, I can't seem to fix it. Oh well.

Here is a list of a few ponies I need to find homes for.  there's not many right now but while list will probably grow. I would also accept trades, my wishlist is in my signature. They come from a smoke free home. I do have dogs but can thoroughly wash ponies before sending.
The ratings:
Excellent: I can find nothing wrong
Very good: one or two small things wrong like a small mark, Mark on the NDS, dry hair
Good: several marks, dry hair, but nothing major
Poor: could be used as bait

Hey ponies!
I just had a quick question on how all of you lovely custom people paint your ponies. I have only painted one pony for which I used just a cheapish acrylic paint which I watered down a bit to make it smooth. I am very pleased with the result except for one thing. The paint has no gloss and is very flat. Nearly all G3s have at least some sort of shine, even if it is very minor and I was wondering how you replicate that (if there is a way)?

Yay! So happy I get to post here!
So, on to the ponies! I didn't take pictures because they are really dirty and Photobucket is a pain right now  ....... but here's what I got.
G3 Daybreak (good condition except for a dark black smear right blunder her mane. It's hidden though, so she's completely display-able.)
G3 McDonald's Toola Roola (cute little gal)
G4 Twilight Sparkle plush without wings (amazing, since she's like $5 in the stores)
And this really neat little pink G3 fakie. She looks so real I had to look real close to tell. But she'll be perfect for practicing customizing!
And now the best part, you won't believe it, I got all four of them for only 74¢ !!!!!!!  Yup, I found this new thrift store that sells by the pound and since the four of them were only 0.4 lbs the whole order was only 74¢. Definitely going back there, no idea how they'll stay in business, but hey I can hope right?

I want to get into into customizing ponies but am having trouble finding bait ponies, as the title says. As I have never customized before, I don't want nice looking bait ponies-- I have too soft of a heart and will just end up keeping them all instead of trying customizing them.
As most of us are, I think, I am on a bit of a budget. I also have no idea what good customizers spend on baits. If there's any out there who are willing to share tips for beginning, that would be really helpful as well.

Has there ever been a literary or book themed custom swap?
Like where participants list their favorite books and/or characters from books and make themed boxes based on their partner's wants?
I haven't ever done customizing but I think this would be a really cool idea to do after the holidays. Maybe there could be a beginners or semi beginners section too.
Any pony got any ideas?

American Heritage Girls? Just curious if anybody knows about it. If not here's some info: (And no I don't mean to sound like I'm advertising it, it's just a really cool program.) American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a Christian-based, girl-led, scouting organization for girls ages 5-18. At least that's the essence of it in one line. We do a lot of fun activities, everything from camping and backpacking to arts and crafts. So I was just curious if any of you arena members knew about it? Americanheritagegirls.org

Condition: I like my ponies to be in good to very good condition. Things that really bother me: factory glue, unfixable hair problems, pony 'cancer' and age spots, permanent markings (bottom of hooves is fine). I am not a MIB collector.

Hi there everypony. I recently purchased a double of a 25th anniversary G3 Star Song at a rummage sale for only $0.50. She is in a bit of rough shape and was wondering, to bait or not to bait.
Note* she had been washed already. The messy hair is from dryness or age I guess...
If you are a customizer, or have any opinion on this please comment.The photos are below, sorry some are a bit blurry. (If they drive you mad please let me know and I'll try to get better ones. Hi Everypony!  Wild Raspberry here. I have designed some pony outfits, all generations included and will be posting them here for your feedback. Enjoy and keep a lookout for updates as well.

Yay! I got it.
Here is Sundance in her new winter coat made of Penne fabric (I believe that's how it's spelled) and faux fur. The clasp is just an old necklace chain I cut up.
