Favorite eye color on a pony?

I thought this would be an interesting topic. I was lying on my bed tonight just glancing over my collection and my eyes rested on G1 Patch (the 7 Tales pony). One thing I love about her in addition to her body/mane color is her eyes. They are a lovely shade of yellow, and I think they just go so well with her colors.

I then got up and looked at the rest of my collection. I've noticed that blue and purple eyes seem to take up a majority of my collection. Blue especially. It's even the default color in some countries, like for the G1 Italian ponies.

I have noticed that ponies with yellow or pink eyes really appeal to me.   So what about you all? What colors do you like your pony's eyes to be?

My favorite eye color of the moment is yellow! Possibly because of Lyra. Those golden yellow eyes against the soft greens are just gorgeous.

I agree! Lyra was another one I was thinking of when brought up yellow eyes. They just made a beautiful pony even more stunning.

My favorite ponies are yellow, and I think they look great with green and aqua colored eyes.

Blue or green. 

I think I have a special affinity for blue-eyed Italian ponies because I'm a blue-eyed Italian (but not a pony.)

oooh... that's a hard one! There are so many lovely ponies who are so well complimented by their eyes!  But if I had to consider a stand out (G1) I've always loved Butterscotch's and Rosette's kind of caramel coloured eyes  Just so lovely and warm looking. I'm even considering keeping an eye out for Chief mostly for that reason (he has a cool colour combo), and I don't even really like the boy ponies!

hmmmmm I think perhaps purple and I wonder if I have a pony with yellow.  I will have to see. I can't think of one at the moment.  I have never thought about this. I want to look at all my ponies and see which ones I like the most.
