It looks like residual glue of some kind - I guess there was a little production glitch and a whole stack of Star Catchers got glue on them - could have been a leak in a machine I guess :) How odd for there to be so many!
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I think mine has what looks like a faint brush of glue.. or maybe they're just production scratches. But it doesn't look yellow :/

I have 4 of her and at least one has the spot as I recall. I don't remember if I cleaned it up or not but a lot of G3's have factory glue on their bodies. I cleaned up quite a few a month ago as I was getting ready for the WI pony meet. I think since its in the same spot its safe to say that some part of the aparatus handling Starcatcher as she went down the line must have gotten glue on it.

Well, my guess is that it's related to the glue used to put the glitter on her wings.  Possibly it's yellowing?  I'll have to check mine . . .

When my G3's make it out of storage I'll check mine and let you know ;)
If it helps any, I'm in Aus and Star Catcher was available over here, both moulded wings and fabric ones :)

oh I will take to it with acetone but I am doubtful it will come of, its more scratches than glue
