Thanks, everypony!   Every time I undertake a deflock, I regret it until it's over and done with.   But partypony, you're absolutely right - the feeling of accomplishment is wonderful!   Cupcake's going to have to wait until tomorrow, alas; I didn't get her totally done until tonight.  Darn that work stuff.  Oh well... lets me buy ponies...

She's all done, and I even touched up her rubbed eyelash line with some handy-dandy dollar store black acrylic paint.  Worked great!  (Whew!)

So who's next?  (Searches for more grubby So-Softs...)  Yep... I'm a sucker for punishment... but boy, I love the way they turn out!  Worth every minute.  And it's actually kinda zen, when there's just you, the pony, and the way you're making it better with every stroke of the cleaning tool...  Ommm... 

@ HawaiianRain:  The remover did take off a tiny bit of the inside of Ribbon's NDS ribbon, but I was really, really careful with it (and probably goobered a bit much on that time).  I applied a saturated cotton swab's worth of remover at a time to a small area, then scraped heck out of it with a wooden coffee stir stick.  This way I had pretty good control over the symbols and eyes and blushes.  I'm really pleased with the blushes, especially.  So vivid!
I had a bit more paint removal on Cupcake's eyelash line as well, but nothing a dab hand with a paintbrush won't take care of.   I hope.

@ madhatterda:  I'm so relieved!   She must've been the "evil pony" in the little kid's herd or something; now she's been reformed... or has she?  (Tune in next week, same bat-time, same bat-channel...)

Oh wow, she looks beautiful! It is hard to find a SS white pony that is that bright under the flocking. I think I went through 3 Paradises before I found one that wasn't yellow or didn't have significant head/body mismatch once the flocking and glue was off.

We need to knit them little hats and scarfs - they have been all cozy under that flocking for 30 years and now they are wild and nikid and probably cold!

@ partypony566:  Can we see your deflocked Cupcake too?  Or is she already posing in another thread?   I have no more So-Softs to deflock (sigh ) so I wanna see other people's deflocks so I can live vicariously.
