She did have blue hair at one point in development though. I suspect this is the origin of the dark indigo color in her hair.

To me Twilight Sparkle's hair colors look purple, pink, and other-shade-of-purple, no blue.

It would have been nice if we got ONE Twilight Sparkle toy that had her accurate show hair color.

I’ve always thought her hair was more of a deep purple, but after seeing her concept art I guess it is more of a blue! It’s such a pretty color, it’s a shame that we probably won’t see it. I know HQG1C’s Genie has a custom hair color, but I’ve always thought it would be a good match for Twilight Sparkle.

Aw man! I forgot the SDCC was last weekend! I checked out HasbroPulse just now but My Little Pony doesn't even come up with any results in the search. Probably anything they had sold out at this point, eh? :\

I checked for MLP on HasbroPulse a few weeks before and nope no category... I don't think they really sell MLP on there...
Their brands listed there are well what most people would call "for boys". Pulse is supposed to be for the fans but looking at it... yeah I'm pretty sure MLP still has fans but I guess the items on Pulse are more exclusive than what you might find in store?

I'm not holding a candle to seeing the set on Pulse but we'll see

Oh thanks! When they said "extras will be on sale on HasbroPulse after the event" I assumed, like, immediately after it. I'll keep an eye out!

They said extra exclusives from SDCC will be sold on there afterward, so we have to see, I dunno what stock is left but I do know MLP doesn't sell out like it used to.

I heard the Basic Fun Majesty sold out, but I guess she wouldn't have been on Hasbro Pulse anyway, since she's technically not "made" by Hasbro, just licensed from them . . . ?

I'd like to pick up the Twilight / Twilight Sparkle set so fingers crossed that they have more of her.

Yes, she will be sold on pulse on 8/12.  Each exclusive is being released at different times.  I only know this because I was following the link for the Con Star Wars item, and that isn't being released until 9/10.

Oh, good, I thought I was just incapable of using the site. 
I checked at 2AM EST and it wasn't up then, so it didn't sell out.
