Aside from the odd fakie-ish head, which I'm fine with, the tail seems a bit on the thin side as well.  I'm also not sure why the stars are pink and possibly a bit low?

It's still my opinion that not seeing the G3ness is wishful thinking or pose blindness. And I'm not trying to convince anyone either. Just that for me it's so obvious that those are the only explanations that make sense.

Also, the way the chest flows up into the neck looks a little strange, but I can't quite put my finger on why? Hmm. Could be the angle maybe?

Does anyone know how much she is? Think we'll get other Time Changes Ponies? G3 and G4 Cheerilee? G3 and G4 Rainbowdash? G1 and G4 Moondancer?

It reminds me a little bit of the awkwardness on whichever Hallmark ornament - was it Moondancer? I don't remember, but it just didn't quite look right, in proportion. But while I'll probably be castigated for saying it, going back to the Twilight Twinkle pose and then this, the body is very similar in the leg style but the head is at a different angle. IF that is the inspiration/basis for this mould, then the head and body don't match/the head was constructed separately because she's a unicorn? And that might explain it.

I don't think it's disrespectful at all.  IMO it's a great homage and I think it's fun that it's a new mold for a G1 Twilight.

I kind of have mixed feelings on it. I would  have liked it more if they made it look like a G1 pony.  Instead, she's kind of a brand new pony, never seen before and it's a little odd to imply she's retro.

I do see the resemblance to G3 but there are a lot of notable differences too.  She is kind of a mishmash.

I like the little G3 Twilight- yes she looks G-3 ish but 3 inches! HOW CUTE! 
I guess they didn't go full classic because we can already get the classic Twilight now pretty easy- so it wouldn't have been special.

Agree she is reminiscent of the classic art.  The eyes are a little disappointing- they seem to be on too low or something.  She does kinda look like a G3 McDonald's pony  Only-  it seems the McDonald’s ponies had a little better sculpting in the eye area (but of course they also had those baffling plastic tails)

The "now" Twilight is incredibly boring cop-out.  What the hey? Is she special at all???? Doesn't seem like it ?????????  BOOOORING.
