The reverse time thing is hilarious! My husband got Sun and I got Moon, so last night I was like "Oh hey, it's day time finally." and he was like "Uh... no it's not."

I also got a Rowlet and Litten from the GTS, and my Brionne (middle stage after Popplio) is about to evolve, so I'm gonna work on evolving the other two starters as well.

Also, has anyone else (who plays Pokemon GO) thought about catching multiple of the same Pokemon because that's what you need to evolve them, only to realize that this is a main Pokemon game and not GO? Just me?

Funny story about my Popplio too. I thought of restarting for a female, but that intro is soooooo long and not worth going through multiple times, imo. So I named my male Popplio Frank N Furter. If you get the reference, I love you.

Hahaha!   I love it!  I was going to do a couple of restarts, too, but aside from the intro taking so long, Bank isn't set up so I could set my starters aside to put them all into one game.  So I guess I'll wait until I can get the other starters through a trade (or do a bunch of long boring restarts in January).  Though, I do prefer to raise my Pokemon from lower levels to higher ones myself instead of trading for higher level Pokemon.  And one of these times I want to do a game where every Pokemon is named after a corresponding Disney Character.  I already have a female Froakie named Tiana on my Y game.

That's understandable. The Rowlet and Litten I got through the GTS were both level 1, so I'll be training them from the start, which I prefer.

I had a thought.  Is it possible to save right before you get your starter and then if it isn't the gender you wanted, restart from there?  Perhaps that would help some of those wanting a female Popplio.

I managed to get an female Alola Vulpix last night for trading a Grubbin, and managed to breed some babies so I could get a Mimikyu and a Ditto via GTS. And I am part way through the second island. xD

I think that is what a lot of people are doing to get the female/shiny Popplio. So that method should work.
I am one of the weird ones that wants a Male Popplio. xD


And one of my friends jokingly made fun for me because I named my special female Munchlax "LeShawna". xD She has saved my team so many times in this game, omg.

I'm actually trying to nickname all of my Pokemon this time around. I typically don't do that, but my husband told me that I've been coming up with some great ones so far.

I restarted for a female. Took two and a half hours but I finally got my female Litten, Poptart. Second egg I bred out of Poptart? Female. The sobbing is real.

I'm almost at the third island so I might not need GTS for anything other than leverage.

Just tried to use Abra's teleport to get back to a PokeCenter.  I guess you can't use it outside of battle anymore?  What's up with that?  (I'm still on the first island so maybe it's because I haven't beat the first trial yet?)

And the kicker is that the event was open to kids AND adult collectors, so my store was in the wrong for it. Plus, I didnt quite like the way they handled it for the older crowd. ^^' 

A few of my friends went to their TRU and were able to get me a Meowth, so I am happy for that.
