Curious didnt they say when Rockruff was revieled in CoroCoro that the starters and rockruff share a secret together?

Cause if thats the case then what do they share?

Well, the one thing that stands out about Rockruff is its version exclusive evolutions. So who knows, maybe we can still hope for a quadrupedal Litten evo
Or maybe Rockruff's secret hasn't been revealed yet either...

Do you think we'll see any more leaks before the release?

I want to preorder the game through Game Stop, but I'm still undecided on which one I want. Out of the new Pokemon, I like the Ice-type Vulpix best. And Vulpix is normally exclusive to one version. UGH!!!!

As far as I know vupix should be in both games. But I could be wrong.

Unfortunately, Alolan Vulpix is exclusive to Sun. Moon gets Alolan Sandshrew. That bit made me pick Sun over Moon.

...and this is why I'm glad that I have a husband who plays Pokemon and always picks the version opposite of me.

That aside, with how easy it is to trade Pokemon these days with literally anyone around the world, I wouldn't be too bothered by version exclusives.

The entirety of Moon leaked early a few days ago. Not sure about Sun at this point. So it's a free for all now. For anyone with a hacked 3DS, that is.

So anyone not wanting spoilers is gonna have a harder time with that now.

Picking Pokemon games by version exclusives is something I've done since Red and Blue. When Ruby and Sapphire came out, I didn't research the version exclusives enough. I chose Sapphire solely on the fact that I like water types. Afterwards, I realized that my favorite Gen 3 Pokemon is Zangoose who is of course exclusive to Ruby. That's a decision I regret to this very day. I never was able to get Ruby or trade for a Zangoose. When ORAS came out I made sure that I got OR first. It was such a relief to finally be able to play the version I really wanted. After R/S I was a lot more careful about which version I picked. Yes, nowadays it it a LOT easier to trade for what you want. Call it a quirk, but I prefer to buy the version with my favorite exclusives in it.
