I went thrifting on Saturday, and there wasn't much of note, until I found this lovely gal! (Pic taken after I cleaned her up)

A gorgeous ceramic merry go round horse. I pretty much grabbed her and didn't let go until we got back to the car! The horse herself is pretty much the size of your traditional 1:9 breyer horse.
I am rather smitten with her, and decided that her name is Buttercup. Now curiosity is killing me and this is probably farfetched, but does anyone know anything specific about her? Brand names or similar horses? Her only identifying marks were a couple made in China stickers. I'd love more like her, but my initial search turned up miniatures or full sized carousel horses (one day, perhaps XD).

How cute! She reminds me of all of the expensive horse statues designed by artists at gift stores.

She's lovely. :lovey:

I’m not sure who she is, but she’s very pretty! :)

I don't know anything about her but congrats on her! :)

Wow, she's very pretty! She looks similar to the Lenox carousel horses that were around in the late '80s/early '90s; perhaps carousel horses were "in" then. Hope someone can come up with a more specific ID.

Wow, she looks lovely! And given the size, she may also be a great size for smaller dolls, and could be used for photographs and such (at least that's something I'd definitely try out if I had a horse like her :) ). I unfortunately do not know anything about her, but I hope someone else will!
