Hi, a new member from Finland here!

I'm a 23 year old woman, almost an engineer, a girlfriend and a proud owner of a tiger striped rescue cat and an old style siamese kitten.

I'm new to collecting MLP:s, but it has always been a thing that I wanted to do some day. I've just recently seriously started my very own collection of G1 MLP:s, but like most of us I got my first ponies when I was really young. I was born in 1989, so my first pony and the only childhood pony I got on the card was Love Letter. Unlike other children, I never dared to lay scissors or pens on her, on the contrary I always washed her gently when she started to look dirty. She still is in great condition, which I am very proud of. My second pony was Italy variant of Fluttebye. I got her from a girl next door when she had already seen her best days... She has quite a wild hair cut and some tattoos made with a marker, but still she is very dear to me and I could never let her go.

After these, the rest of my childhood ponies were all flea market bought. My childhood treasures include at least Molasses, Barnacle, Lil' Pocket, Snowflake and Baby Tappy. My childhood ponies still live at home with a boxfull of other ponies, waiting for me and my two sisters to remember which of them belonged to whom.

I decided to start my own collection when I found a pretty little Lickety Split from a flea market last summer. I washed her and combed her fizzy hair, and she turned out such a beauty that I was gone and sold. This autumn I included SS Posey, Flutterbye (glittery symbol version), Parasol, Confetti (Shy pose), Pony Bride, Baby Cotton Candy, NBBE Baby Cuddles, Baby Surprice, Baby Mischief, Baby Moondance, Baby Sweet Steps, Strawberry Surprice, Trickles and Tootie Tails into my collection.

I'm not a fussy collector. Most of my ponies have cut hair, pepper dirt, glitter rust or cancer, but I don't mind, they're pretty as they are. I also think that ponies were made for toys, not for something that children are forbidden to touch, so I will be allowing my future children to play with my ponies if they'd like to. Gently of course, and maybe excluding some gems like my SS Posey with near perfect hair...  I'm also a bit cheap and always a bit short of money, so I'm not really even expecting to add them mintiest ponies into my collection...

Looking forward to chatting with you all!
