Once we find out what works it's a lot easier.

Okay, I didn't get pictures up yesterday, but I've got some for today!  There are a few other projects I've gotten done that I haven't had time to take pictures of so hopefully I will have more in the future.

Here's the pony I did.  I had previously done a brushable of this pony for her (it can also be found on my DA page):

Here's a Stormtrooper Helmet.  It's odd how often I get "Dr. Who/Tardis" requests because I've only seen two episodes of the show:

And here's a little piggy bank with Stitch's silhouette (this was actually a quick project to finish once I started it):

Those are amazing. They look factory made without the random flaws. I am fudging on my point system....sigh. I just have to keep trying:)

Hmm I could have sworn I already posted. But since it seems I haven't.

Pokeyonekenobie - I wanted to say that those look incredible. I love Dr. Who, its so fun to see the stormtrooper in the Tardis colors. Also your pony is beautiful.

CG - Even with my new rewards to motivate me, i was just so busy today that I didn't get any exercise done. I understand the point fudging thing. Be strong! :)

I'm sorry for my lack of communication currently. There is a situation going on that I'm not at liberty to talk about. I've worked for months on fixing it and it isn't something that I can do anything more about. However, I may be leaving soon as there's no way for me to change it on my own. I do hope I get to stay, but must continue to be mia until I can feel safe again.

In good news, I'm making my goals. We went to last Vegas this weekend and I managed to hold myself together so my daughter had a great adventure. I hope this isn't the end. Hang in there everypony! If I can reach my goals, then you can, too! :)

@Tak - I'm so sorry to hear you're having difficulties. Being able to feel safe is super important. I realize you said you're not able to talk about it, but if you ever need an ear to rant to privately, please feel free to message me. Sometimes talking about problems is the best way to find clarity and solutions. Of course this is me saying this without knowing what's going on with you, so use your best judgement. But the offer is there :)

I've never been to Vegas, but I hear it can be great. I hope you both had a wonderful time there.

As for myself, I am super stressed out and pretty much put my goals on hold for the week. I entered a custom contest, and I'm having great difficulty getting anything done for it. I feel like I keep hitting delays after delays. Right now I'm behind schedule. I added feathering to the pony, but sanding it was more difficult than usual so the transition from apoxie sculpt to pony isn't as smooth as I want my standards to be. I was trying to do a gradient so I can see the sparkles from the original pony while covering up the grey apoxie and that isn't going well, so I'm behind on the body, and then widening the plugs was making me sick from the fumes of the melting sparkly bits inside the plastic so I'm behind on the eyes. On top of the entry is due on the 31st and my hair hasn't arrived yet.  It's a whole big mess. And it makes me all worried that if I can't get a single pony done for a contest deadline, how am I gonna be able to handle making customs for anyone?  And I've been snapping at my husband about it too cause he said he'd teach me how to do gradients with airbrushing and then kinda only half taught me, so I feel bad for being so mean.

The good news is that my mother said she's coming to visit in December (of course my husband doesn't see that as good). And after talking for a while she said she wants to try doing a custom pony while she's down here. I'm excited about that cause I've never really got to do any crafting type stuff with her before in my whole life. And from what I've seen she used to do beautiful artwork before I was born, but then gave it up. I'm hoping this might spark some interest in painting for her again. She's retired now, it's the perfect time to take painting back up.

I get stress...my goals are on the way side too. But letting out can help:) sometimes saying a meaningful sorry to hubby helps. It makes him feel better and then you feel better. I snap too so I apologize a lot for it. Take a deep breath. That pony is going to make it. I have all faith in your skills and dedication. Remember you idea for this pony....you got this far it's the home stretch.

You're right, Thanks :)
I'm really worried I'll get this pony done paint wise, but the hair won't show up. Do I just submit a bald pony? I ordered my hair from Retro Dolls Us this time instead of Dollyhair because I heard some people saying she's a bit slow lately shipping things out, I've never had a problem with getting things in a timely manner from her before, but I didn't want to risk not getting my hair in time. So my order was placed on the 12th, and it was only hair that said in stock and all but one said ships in 1-3 business days (the last item saying 3-5). So we're expecting the hair any day now, assuming the post office didn't mess up. But we messaged Retro Doll Us last week just to confirm the hair is in transit. But we've not gotten any word back. Not hearing back is stressing me out the most. There's an announcement on the Esty page that I only saw yesterday about delays, but I can't remember if the announcement was there before we ordered even though it says it was updated the day we ordered. So I feel like I've gotten myself into a pickle.

I think I'm gonna try to cook something nice for my husband this weekend as an apology, it's been a while since I've done any actual cooking.

Bald is beautiful:) hope the hair comes soon...I can not wait to see picktures.

Tak. You are always welcomed here no matter what. We love you...big hugs.

I have realized I am being too hard on myself. I have been making myself depressed:( I failed to realize I have almost gone two weeks without spending money on junk food! That is a bonus for me. I have been keeping track of my calories and I actually eat healthy...I just need to excersice more.

I have realized one of my two jobs is not helping my emotions. I work with kids that are at the end of the line. They either have mental issues or gotten into bad things like drugs and alcohol...this school is their last chance to get it together or they will go to jail or group home. Some are great kid who have been dealt a bad hand. So I have to help them and report their activity in school. Did not realize my emotional state would come into play.

To help with this, I am doing a picture contest. I will post soon in the choral. It is putting my loves into something that I have to monitor daily. I am obsessed with flutter ponies and pageants. I hope this will give me more of a boost of happiness to do more positive things.

I will post think link here too.

On a funny note....being in Florida for about 4 years has made me a weakling to cold. I sat in my car for 5 minutes before I went inside my home because it was way warmer...hahaha

Okay it's super quiet around here!

Cg, you are working one for those tough jobs, focus on the rewards of helping the kids. My mother-in-law is in a similar situation, she's a nurse at an oncology ward, and it's tough for her to get to know the people there because they are in such pain and many don't win the battle. It's heart wrenching. Try to stay positive is the best advice I can give. But I know that can be hard to do. *hugs*

Also I know how you feel about the cold, living in Georgia/South Carolina for years now makes me embarrassed to say I was born a New Englander. I swear I was going to freeze to death one night when the house was 62 degrees last week. That's practically a summer day back where I grew up.

Sorry, I tend to be more of a lurker than a poster.  But I did manage to reorganize a few shelves in my room and I have got 10 out of 13 Christmas presents for my nieces and nephews taken care of.  The boys are getting a large Storm Trooper helmet to paint or color with markers and the girls are getting a battery operated sewing machine.  It can't do thicker fabrics but it is good enough for them to learn on and they've been asking my mom to teach them how to sew lately. It even has a needle guard so they can't accidentally sew their fingers.  The presents I have left to find are for the babies and I haven't decided what they need yet.  I have plotted out several more boxes to paint and will start work on those between my Nanowrimo writing sprees this month.

I have not gone off and grabbed junk food for two weeks strait so I got Pretzel. I like the different G4 so I am glad to have found her. I really RaRa. I am trying to learn her song on piano. Right now it's the only thing motivating me to practice.

I just hated that money wasting habit of slipping to McDonald's or any store to pig out on junk food. I am not out of the dark yet...but getting better.

Now I just need to resist this dam Halloween candy in a big open bowel. I have a bad sweet tooth. No progress on my working out.

The second round of my flutter pony contest is on the way. http://mlparena.com/index.php?topic=382945.0

At least vote:) I will have a custome round too:)

I'm back! Sorry for being gone so long. The situation has finally been resolved so I'm hoping that things will get back to normal.

I've kept up with my walking and creative project goals. I even managed a walk to the local 7-11. My daughter lost her tooth and wanted a slurpee to remedy the pain. I'll read through all the new posts and try to be online again soon.
