Wonder Egg Plant. Whose heard of one?

I just bought this wonder egg plant kit from a dollar store and was wondering if anyone here has ever planted one before and if you had any tips? Also i had a question about the packet of seeds. The instructions say plant them all in the same pot and when they grow leave the healthiest one and cut off the others. Do you think it would be ok to plant all the seeds in seperate containers to see if i can get multiple plants? It just seems wasteful to cut the others off like that...

If you google wonder egg plant and go to images theres pics. Its a ornamental egg plant. I had never heard of one until i seen it at the store but i cant seem to find very much info on it...

i've never heard of it, but i LOVE eggplant lol

and it would be perfectly fine to plant the seeds in individual containers, all of them may not grow though, they tell you that because they give you one container and multiple seeds to ensure that you get at least one plant, if you have more containers, go for it! the more plants the better in my book lol

Im sure it will be perfectly fine to plant them in separate containers   You should still beable to compare which plants are stronger when they grow.

But can you eat it? since it's a ornamental plant, does it mean you cannot consume the egg plant?

Ive read that you can eat them but they are really bitter.

I just saw one at Lowe's today. It was an egg that apparently will grow into a plant I guess.
