My man is away on  business....
I've been ill... :sick:


So he bought me a whale I've been wanting for months. Apparently it was discontinued. We had to hunt all over the place for it. It arrived today.

Congrats- I've never seen the whale before!  I like how realistic Schleich animals are- if I had more money I would totally collect them!  Love the horses and unicorns they make.

Schleich animals are massive over here. You should see the displays. I can look at them for hours lol.

Do you collect them all or just the whales?

Congrats on the new whale :cheer:
I love the Schleich animals, have some of the horses and mythical animals (pegasus, dragons ect) but also have some whales :accomplished: I also have that Grey Whale, the Humpback Whale and my favorite the Sperm Whale (also have the calves for all three :) ).

I just get the ones I like. I love the detail on them. My birthday gift from the man last year was the big Brachiosaurus. I want the Apatosaurus. I like my dinos biiiiiig. My man has the Spinosaurus. That's pretty big as well!

He's about twenty-seven centimetres long. Scale is 1:32. Quite big, and no stand. I shall have to be creative to display him!

How about hanging him from the bathroom ceiling? (Kidding, just kidding!) But I can totally envision someone displaying their whale collection like that. My bathroom ceiling is like nine feet tall, so there'd be the room to do it, too!

Tuney, you haven't seen my bathroom. I'll just say "Needs decorating. Urgently." I could never do that to my poor whale. Besides, water would drip off his nose onto me while I was brushing my teeth.......
