Hi, everypony!

My cute little boy got his mama a fakie!  Awwwwwww... it's a total keeper! ^.^  McPinkie hangs out for size comparison purposes.  She's liking the gig.

But what the hay kind of fakie is it?  It says Mattel '99 China on the inside right hind leg, and the vents on the bottom are making me wonder if it's got some sort of sound mechanism (which would be broken, as it's silent) inside...  It also has these hexagonal indents on its sides that lead me to presume it was previously employed as a cart horse.  I've done an image search, but to no avail.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you. ^.^

it reminds me of the horses made by Fisher Price, however, since it says mattel it does bring up some questions

Looks like it was a horse for a carriage, based on those holes in the sides.  Possibly Disney Princess or something similar?

I just looked it up and it's from 1999 Fisher Price Loving Family Wedding Carriage.  I'm not sure if it was a set with the bride and groom or by itself though.
