I just got my sister pack (thank you jeapos88) and would love to take down Howleen's hair but it's soooooo tightly curled I'm a bit nervous.  Does anyone have pics of their Howleen with her hair down?

i didnt do so well with mine, but i know less about doll hair styling lol. mine kinda just got super frizzy. I sort of wish I had left it alone, but at the same time i sort of like her with it.

Iv tried a few halfhearted attempts to tame it, and its just so thick and short that its kinda hard to do anything with.

Basically all I did was take out the bands holding the little puffball things in,  combed it down into the style I wanted and then poured boiling water over it to make it stay down.

I actually can't remember if I did anything other than that; I did her hair several months ago. think I had to kinda rinse-and-repeat a few times, but I don't think I did anything other than comb and boil.

Mine has tons of glue seepage, though, so maybe the glue has something to do with keeping it halfway tame?

Ok I'm feeling a bit more comfortable now.  Everyone's Howleen looks great.  TrueVampiress I don't know why you think differently but yours looks great!

Her hair was pretty sticky, so I washed it and used some tea tree oil. I did a couple of combing and hot water treatments and wasn't happy with that so I ended up using a flat iron.

I really love this Howleen but I wish I could get her without getting the 2-pack. i just got the Dance Class Howleen on Amazon last nite.

ok how!? xD i used an iron on parts of mine and it just didnt work, ill have to look into this oil you mentioned..

and i dont dislike mine xD i DO like her hair, id just love to have it a little straigher is all :p my favorite howleen is the dance class one :3

So how did you get her hair like that Jup?  Did you do the hot water wash too or something different?

just hot water and a brush.....i did it several times....I had hoped for straighter, but i think she looks cute with some curl

She looks so good with her hair down! I will leave mine up but maybe if I ever get a second one I would so let her hair down! Beautiful pics

Oh I like a bit of curl.  I'm just afraid I'd frizz it out.  LOL
