Who is the most kawaii?! Definitely G1
For me they have the most soulful eyes and the most personality, thus making them cuter. But G2 comes in at a close second for their jolly little smiles and twinkles. I find that the other gens just have something soul-less and dead about them (even G4, which I love) although this may just be because I didn't play with them as a child.

I think G3 is the cutest, closely followed by G1 and G4.
It's probably because I grew up with G3 ponies, but they just seem to have the most detail put into them. Their eyes and cutie marks tend to be beautiful.

G4s are cute for now because I'm really into the whole Anime eyes thing, but in 15 years time, looking back, I can't be sure if I can say the same still.

Whereas for G1s, I have been looking at them for the past 30 years of my life, and I still love the way they look as if it was the day when I got my first pony. Therefore, G1s win hands down.

I was having a hard time deciding which one of the generations has the cutest ponies, because all of them had some unique ponies (G3.5 is still my least favorite, but I'm slowly warming up to it). In the end I voted for G1. Why? Well, mostly because I like their eyes: they look really gorgeous. Plus, G1 has the most adorable babies in the history of the franchise.

Also, there's something really pleasant about the way they're sculpted: their faces/muzzles look really peacefull and serene, and there's just something about their expression that makes me want to smile each time I look at them.

They are all cute in their own way and it really depends on the type of pony.
Like, i think G1 baby ponies are cuter than most G3 baby ponies. But the G3 baby ponies Mochanut and Dance Around are just as cute as the G1 baby ponies. It all depends on the used mold.

No contest G1 is by far the cutest!  Hasbro keeps trying but I don't think they'll ever best the originals.

While I prefer the look of G1, I'd have to say G4 is the cutest. The large head, eyes, and ears, with tiny muzzles and feet are all characteristics that are subconsciously associated with "cute," and I'd say that definitely applies here (and to the G1 babies).

For me it's G3s. Don't get me wrong - I think all generations are lovely - but there's something about G3s that I just find charming!

In theory, although I personally find their features so exaggerated, they've moved beyond cute to look deformed. But I do think that's what Hasbro was going for, even if I think it failed. I think some people would say the same about G4 though, too...that those features are too exaggerated.

I suppose it would mean that that but G3.5's are just not cute (in my opinion ). It would seem most agree as no one has voted G3.5.
