I finally got a new (to me anyway) digital camera!  So now, a better pic of three MH outfits I've made.  I couldn't find a pair of shoes that I liked to go with the outfit on Ghoulia, so I just left her barefoot.

Frankie's outfit is really cute. I like the peasant shirt....a peasant dress would be OMG AWESOME! What can I say? I adore dresses!

I can't wait to do more and put up more pix of the ones I have done on my DA page. Thanks for the links! All these clothes are so cute!

I've been working on some MH boys' clothes with pants that have working pockets and stuff. Definitely posting those soon.

Making temporary boots
-----------------------------------------------------
I was inspired by this awesome tutorial here: http://sugarnspicecreations.blogspot.com/2010/10/costume-party-musketeers-part-6.html.  I wouldn't recommend cutting the boots off the doll though; I tried it with Cleo and even though I was careful, the scissors made scratches on her leg.  So I'd just leave the boots on until you decide to take them off and just unwrap the tape pieces to remove it.

I used electrical tape instead of duct tape because it's smaller.  I cut the strips in half lengthwise to go around her foot.

First, cover the doll's foot with a square of plastic wrap and gather it at the knee.  Start with her foot and wrap with strips of electrical tape until all of her foot is covered.  Then wrap the strips around her leg until the boot is the heighth you want.  Carefully cut off the excess plastic wrap.  If you leave just a little bit of the gathered plastic wrap showing at the top, it looks kind of like lace.
