*Shrugs* I didn't need to drop $50 on more cards, anyway. :P
The MLP trading cards (Not the CCG) have had a fifth series approved a while ago, but Enterplay posted on their facebook that they will not be able to print them.
Link to photos. (https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipNkYkDWWdPnmknW5-yHZUqTa27r3XL5qs8XfsItTiUbFozgZQdq9kInWuTJXnJDMw?key=OWpQeFA1T0sxVmM5N255Wk5ZUmhFUnYxZFczV0J3)
The only thing I'm super upset about is that we won't get this sticker printed, I love the vector on it!

Aand the CCG is canned too. It's going to be continued through a group that has set up organized matches for the game, but players will be able to print their own cards.
From the facebook page:
The answer is, quite simply, that although Enterplay has supported this game since its inception, the company is no longer capable of doing so going forward. While it would be possible for Commentary is Magic to continue to support the MLPCCG for some time using only currently available product, chances are the game would rapidly grow stale without the influx of new cards to shake up the metagame and give players new and exciting deckbuilding options. In order for the game to retain its enthusiastic player base, it would be essential for new sets and content to be continually designed.
It looks like they're clearing out old stock. I think this is an "ending G4" thing rather than an out of business thing...G5 when?? Hellow?? I'm waiting?? :P

TWINLELE IN YOUR SLEEP
Noo I can't see anything else now. I want it twice as much.

Wow I feel bad for them. I know most of the cards are just screenshots from the show, but it still must have taken a lot of time to make a full set of cards, and now with nothing to show for it except to put the images up online and not get back any money for the time investment of making the cards. :\ Did they say why they weren't going to print them?
I really love all those pretty cloud-themed cards at the bottom of the list, including the "twinlele" card. XD What a shame I won't be able to collect them! I think I'm going to save those images and use them as cell phone home screen images~
And they cancelled the card game too, huh? Wow. I never played it, but is it true people would really stop playing it without new cards being made all the time? -blink- Maybe that's the norm in trading card games, I dunno.
Well gee, maybe I should put my extra cards and stuff up for sale if everything is on its way out the door.... -eyes her 10 boxes of Enter-Play cards and merch sitting dusty in the corner of the closet-

The cards look cute, what a shame the last ones won't get made. I love the sparkly looking ones on the bottom row.
Plus, they are using the Oxford comma on their cards so I fully support them.

This may be atypical, but: How a Star Trek card game quietly continues, 10 years after its official end (https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2017/12/how-a-star-trek-card-game-quietly-continues-10-years-after-its-official-end/).

How about... t(w)inkle in your sleep. For all the bedwetters out there

Genuinely read twinkle on the card and was totally confused about 'twinlele' until I read down. Starting to think there was some secret G4 language going on here >.>

Man, those vectors for the stickers really are beautiful. Shame we won't be getting them.

This is cool! The Star Trek community is an awesome bunch. :)

There will be magic cards though!

Kind of strange. I play Magic but I don’t think I will be paying for these.

They're pretty, but I don't think I want to spend $50 on three cards myself... I know $30 of it goes to charity but then you're still paying Hasbro $20 for three cards...
-
But the real question is are they GOOD cards playing wise? :P
-
The M:tG cards look awesome! I don't play / collect them myself but my understanding is that $50 is reasonable for a card that's available for less than a month.
Hasbro previously made at least one M:tG Transformers card (Grimlock) and that card goes for around $100. They also made ones for Nerf and Dungeons & Dragons. So I'm glad to see MLP join the ranks. ;)
I hope they make another toy-related card every year! Mr. Potato Head, Care Bears (? does Hasbro have that these days?), Hungry Hungry Hippos, the possibilities are endless!

I don’t know if it would be acceptable to play in my gaming group though. We play for prizes. But now that I’ve read the text... these would be so much fun to play.
