Welcome all to the official Grail Swap! Please be sure to read all the rules pony friends. Newbies are welcome to join! This is going to be a nice, long swap, so you will be able to enjoy your holidays without getting behind.  Don't forget to look for the secret word!

First check in: December 1st
Second check in (Photo check): January 2nd
Final Check in, progress pics : January 31st
Ship date: February 28th

Rules:
1. You must have 5 positive arena feedback.
2. You must have been an arena member for at least 6 months before sign ups are over.
3. I will do my best to match the swap partners by skill. This is not officially a skill based swap, I just want to be sure we are evenly matched up. Newbies welcome.
4. Ship on time! I realize real life issues come up sometimes. If this happens, I want to know about it as soon as you realize you will be late.
5. No shipping early! I will be withholding addresses until shipping time to prevent this. The exception will be after final check in and your partner is ready to ship as well. I don't want anyone disappointed in this swap and with so many people going MIA lately, it's best for everyone to hold off until we are sure their partners haven't disappeared.
6. Be prepared with progress pics at progress date.
7. Send me pictures of your completed custom before you ship. I want to know your custom is complete before it goes out.
8. Let me know right away when you ship your custom and when you receive one.
9. Do not let anyone know who your partner is. It is secret.
10. This swap includes all generations of ponies (G1, G2, G3, G3.5, and G4), if there are any of these you do not like, include that in your form. Do not use any fakies unless your partner requests it.
11. You must be in no more than 2 other swaps (total of 3).
12. PM the sign up form to me (LadySatine) by the sign up deadline.
13. You must check in with pictures for the final check in 1 week before shipping.
14. KEEP YOUR SHIPPING RECEIPTS! You need to be able to produce proof of shipping when asked. You need to hold onto your receipt until your partner confirms that they have received their pony. I also highly recommend delivery confirmation for those not shipping internationally.

To ensure that you have read all the rules, please use the word “foxy” in your subject line. If you do not use the secret word, your form will be invalid.

Will progress pictures count as 'experience' points towards gauging one's skill level? While I haven't completed the ponies I'm working on, I still do have some evidence of the skill level I have - just wanted to air this before applying/taking photos and such.

Oh and 'grail' doesn't specifically mean 'nirvana' does it - it can also mean that hard-to-find-common-ish-in-the-day-G1-pony too (like Mimic for example - even if she wasn't so 'common' in the 80's) ... doesn't it..?

Of course it does! A grail is any pony that you really want, it doesn't matter how common it is, or what country it's from. You could say that Pinkie Pie is your grail, and that would be okay.
