Now you guys got that 'Thrift Store' song in my head again =P  Huge congrats!  I have yet to find anything G4 in a thrift shop, and an FS too!

Thanks again! We have a Salvation Army, a Goodwill, and one Thrift Store for the local animal shelter in the nearest town and many more of the same in short-drive away towns (I live in a rural area with towns spread around). Both kids are in daycare/school on Tuesdays so that will be my Thrift Day from now on!

I never find anything good in the thrift stores or charity shops here in Scotland, at least in terms of ponies.  Ironically, that's what got me collecting again... finding four G1s at a charity shop for only a few pounds.  Actually, my husband found them.  Tex, Sunspot, Love Melody, and Baby Lickety Split, all with hair cuts, but still a great find... I have a theory that ponies come only when you're not actively looking, which is why they usually pop up unexpectedly when you're there for a different reason, or why people who don't collect find them all over the place. ;-)

The baby crumpet has a little tooth sticking out... is that on all of them? I don't collect anything other than G4's so I don't know anything.

She's called a first-tooth baby. There were a set of 6 in the US and then some tropical babies had first teeth, some mail order babies and some UK babies had them too. If the tooth is still nice and white its even better because the paint often came off. Baby Crumpet is often around the $20 range but sometimes goes for more. She's pretty sought after.

Thanks so much for the info on her! I'm learning so much about the other generations and it's really fun! I never had any ponies growing up, even though they came out a couple years before I was born. Hopefully I can find a great home for her, since I don't collect them. I just grab the other gens for trading purposes so they can be loved by a collector
