They aren't something that appeals to me, but they are cute-   if they had slightly snazzier outfits and were cats instead of dogs I'd probably find them irresistable.  Cat-girls are cute -

They're actually pretty darn cute. Not sure I like their eyes much, but I'll wait to see in person. And the idea of dogs having pet dogs raises some issues too bad they're not articulated more.

Charmmy Kitty!  She's actually one of if not my most favorite Sanrio characters. I still find it odd though It makes me think of some weird type of caste system

Toralei has a pet Saber Tooth kitten, and when Toralei was a baby...she and her siblings were actually...Kittens...too...

Insanity! For 20 years I thought Pete (and his wife Peg, son PJ and daughter Pistol from Goof Troop...) were dogs!! I feel like my childhood has just been turned upside down.

I'm pretty sure I thought he was a dog, too. But he does look more feline in the earlier cartoons like in Steamboat Willie he most definitely looks like a cat.

The dolls themselves look cute (I like the one on the far right), but those pets... they're kinda scaring me.


But the "part-human, part-pup" bit is o-O. Hopefully it's nothing like "my mom was a human and my dad a cocker spaniel" and more like Disney's Goofy.

I'm not really a fan of anthropomophic animals, (although I'd kill for a Max Ernst-esque bird/doll hybrid! ), but I really like the direction they're going with the outfits.
They look cute instead of trashy and aren't smothered in glitter like most modern Barbie clothes, so I can't wait to see who they fit.

ps. I nearly spat out my drink at the "my mom was a human and my dad a cocker spaniel" comment, I hadn't even thought of that!

It looks like their hair is actually a "wig" that will slip on over their ears, maybe? Judging by the fashion pack having two separate hair pieces.

Oh my goodness, that vector looks so creepy!! A part of me thinks that too with the ear wigs, but the other part of me thinks they just rooted the box for aesthetics!!

The smooth, bald head (and eyes which are facing in opposite directions) makes me lol. I think they might look a bit better if they had a sculpted tuft of fur on their head or something.
