Mlp manga pony, Star Dancer!

[Mana Minori]

Ever since the adorable little bean, Star Dancer, from the “A Day in the Life of Equestria” manga has her colors revealed by the manga’s official artist, I have been enamored with her!
It took a while to find an earth pony that I could use for customizing, but I found a duplicate Cherry Berry who volunteered herself up for the cause!

Due to her pearly finish, Cherry had to take so many coats of yellow to even begin transforming into Star Dancer. And by the time I was finished, I really didn’t intend to add anything else, but spontaneously decided to make her cheeks blushy like her picture. I may have also thrown some peachy pink shading on her nose, ears and legs....getting carried away.

Her hair was made out of yarn and I love how it turned out. I had a lot of fun trying to style it accurately.

the yarn hair actually turned out much better than I originally expected it to. I haven’t had much success with it on most my ponies, when I use it, but I felt it would hold its shape better than faux costume hair that I would need to use more of.
(Why was It moved out of A&C? Just curious)

I almost forgot her little star at the end. It slightly disappoints me, because the points are rounded, but it was all I had. Minor nitpick, but it’s ok. I still like her

I really love her design, I'm so glad you made a custom of her.  Wow, those tiny stars you painted so well!  Looks like the yarn hair worked out well for that unique hairstyle she has.  I still haven't tried yarn for rehairing...someday...

haha, thanks! I’m glad I made one too! It was really bugging me that I haven’t been seeing any fanart or customs of her from the g4 creators. So vexing.

I hope you can get so working with some yarn soon!

Pretty cool. She's really cute.
