(Issue Fixed!) - Does Anyone Know How To Solve This? - Rainlove The Pegasus

(1/5) > >>

Rainlove The Pegasus:
I got a Rainbow Dash styling size pony at my job on Saturday and I noticed she has clear glue in her mane and I would like some much needed help on how to get it out! If anyone can make lists on what works best then please assist me, Thank you!

I already separated her head and body so I can work on her head more efficiently.

I will leave a link to the images below. You might have to click on the photos with her mane pictures.

Oh, and she has some clear glue on her back by her large wings!

Nudging over to Pony Corral for you! ~Tailrustedtealeaf :)
Thank you! -RTP

Griffin:
I would try isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol or pure acetone, but watch out for the eye paint. Soak a cotton ball and let it sit on the glue for a few minutes, or dip her head upside down into the solvent if you can do that safely without damaging the eyes.

Shaiyeh:
Aw, someone wanted to tame her flyaways :silly:
I would also try something like rubbing alcohol for that. Have you tried peeling it off her back? Some clear glue will peel off plastic easily. I would be carful peeling it from the hair, as it might damage it. Good luck with it :)

lovesbabysquirmy:
yes I would also try acetone... carefully

Pokeyonekenobie:
You could try heating it with a blow dryer.  Depending on what type of glue it is it will soften it, which might allow you to peel it up easier and possibly cut it with scissors to remove larger chunks and make the bits actually on the hair more manageable.  Just be careful not to burn yourself.
