Pony Corral / '80's pic of me and my collection.....sort of.

I was going through old photos and found this pic of me, and you can see some of my MLP's on my bookshelf on the right! As well as my Dream Castle

and some kind of giant blossom - I'm thinking either piggy bank or perhaps an empty bubble bath container - if anyone can enlighten me it would be much appreciated!! I still have that wicket horse hamper head I'm holding

also sorry for pic quality, I just snapped a pic of the photo, and sorry for my hideous outfit lol

Pony Brag Arena / Finally found a G1 at a thrift store!

I love reading thrift store brag threads and I go to my local thrift store about once a week but I've never found any G1's. My daughters collect the rest of the generations and we do find them on occasion.

Well Sunday morning I went and found these 3 ponies in a bag for $2.99!!!

Cherry Berry, Baby Brother Waggles, and Daisy Jo. I'm so excited about Waggles! He's my first Brother pony. I had stopped collecting MLP by the time they released the Brother ponies (had just outgrown them I guess). Aside from head mismatch he is in beautiful condition!!!

Pony Brag Arena / Thrift store find

Once a week my daughters and I go to out local thrift store to check out their toy section. I don't collect G3's but I also have a 'no pony left behind' rule. So I think I've just started my daughters on their own G3 collection!

Introductions / Hello all!

I'm so happy to have found such a wonderful place filled with like-minded people!!! My name is Jenny, and I have been an avid pony fan since I received my first 2 ponies in the very early 80's. They were the original FF Snuzzle and Cotton Candy. And thus began my obsession. Unfortunately my father 'helpfully' donated my entire pony collection in the early '90s.

So as of very very recently I have decided to start to rebuild a collection of my favourite G1 ponies. I also have daughters who are fans of the newer ponies and they have expressed an interest in helping me collect (since it's something I've been wanting to do for over a decade now!). I hope to learn a lot here and to share pictures of my hopefully growing collection!!!!

Oh I'm also Canadian.
