Magic Erasers are great!

I used a magic eraser for the first time today and I have to say I'm amazed at how good they are!

I trialed it on my Tootsie who is not my favourite based on the fact that she was grubby so her colour was a little odd.
However she now looks like a new pony and she's lovely!

Can't wait to clean all of my ponies now 

One question though - is it safe to use the eraser over symbols and eyes? I was very cautious around them.

Only if you're very, very, very careful! Apply only the tiniest smidgen of pressure while cleaning areas that have paint.

But, yes, the Magic Eraser is a godsend to the pony community.

Very wise of you to leave it off the paint - it can remove glitter for sure, and I imagine the symbols, blush, and eyes if you rubbed hard enough... 

Great to hear that it brightened up your ponies though!

I know a lot of people say if you are careful you can use them on paint...but personally I would avoid it as I know they will remove glitter and paint if rubbed even a little too heavily - for me its not worth the risk!

And I agree Magic Erasers = wonderful!

Aren't they great? I've never had problems with taking off paint, but I'm very careful. I will only scrub gently on a symbol with a tiny corner of the eraser if the symbol has a mark, and it does a great job of taking off those marks without damaging the paint. I would, as others have said, avoid glitter though.

It's full of unicorn magic. ^^ I found a brand new one that someone was giving away and I snatched it up right then. Can't wait to use it on some of my grungy ponies because they apparently work really well.

they are SOOO great
other than the nasty grit feeling left allover lol (i use them wet, do they do that dry?)

Vintage Cabbage Patch Kids collectors have used them for years too! Brilliant things, although in England I don't think they sell them so there are other trade names for them. Managed to get quite a few pen marks off CPK without having to use Oxy10 and Sunfading with one. Glad Tootsie is now loved!

I agree. My mom recently bought a pack of magic erasers the other day and I remembered seeing something on here about cleaning ponies with them so I gave it a shot. I was surprised at the amount of dirt that came off some of my ponies, especially my Princess Sparkle who I didn't even know was that dirty    Definitely something I'm going to keep using to freshen up my ponies

I avoid them like a plague.. My experience with Magic Erasers were just bad... so I don't even touch them any more...
