I was 14 when I had to move out and I wasn't able to take my ponies with me. And where I came to live then there was no "emotional room"  for them. So my grandparent kept them for me aside until I took them back.

Up here they take a lot of space too, just like the flyers that come along. I would also ask just the shipping costs for it or into recycling. Or maybe a nice extra in swaps?

Hey, a familiar face (train Schagen to Amsterdam) :)

Yes, we only have Sunday tickets left.
There is room for 300 people. Not much comparing to USA format or bigger European cons but very cosy.  And people come from like the UK, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, France and and Switzerland.

Oh Hello! Is this our friend Eynav? I'm thinking of coming over for the pony meet after King's Day! And I believe we have a standing invitation to visit your pony room...      ^.^  I'll pm you when I know more.

Yes thats me :) And the invitation still stands :)

Price Check Archives / Re: Price check on G3 ponies

Core 7 commons 1 euro others 2-3 euros. Flower Wishes and Lily Lightly  4-5 euros if you want make a bit money on them.
Those are my selling prices if I sell these. And depending on the pony there are people who want to pay that.

Pony Corral / Re: Who was your very first pony?
« on: February 17, 2016, 05:19:57 AM »
My first pony was Lickety Split as a birthday present from my grandparents in 1985.
I always thought it was 84 until I found out it was a year later recently.

Pony Corral / Re: Who has the biggest G1 collection? :)

Wow nice pictures kitkatvintage.

I think its also depends what standard you take as the most because its so diverse.
Mine is one of the largest one in The Netherlands (pictures are in the bragforum put recently) but it doesn't top those who have like all the G1 and no other gens.
And I feel that it doesn't have to be a contest, it's about enjoying the collection.

I think you are overpaying on the name tags. The pretty parlour is a common set and accessories can be found all over. I have seen Mint In Box of the parlour for the total price of the tags.
From the alternate birthflower I am not sure but they are at least 100+ euros.
Wind Whistler could be a bit less too because she doesn't look very mint
From the baby brother and Sparkler, price looks ok but the maximum what I would pay for them.

I hoped I helped you a bit on the way :)

Price Check Archives / Re: PC UK Activity Club Babies
« on: February 08, 2016, 01:52:01 AM »
I paid for mine no more than 10 pounds each (that was a MIP Baby Ribbons & Hearts) so they are affordable to get.

Does that take into account the value of the Canadian dollar?  And when did you pay that for them?

Well the calculator says 40 Canadian Dollars, I really have no idea if that is expensive for Canadian terms :)

I have been to the UK ponycon the past 6 six years and there are always people selling them because they are mailorder ponies that came with a membership. So they are not hard to come by.
I bought the Ribbons & Hearts in 2011, Bridesmaid & Fun and Games somewhere in between.

This convention is also for meant for the people who collect other generations and there will be vendors selling them. So this is not "another Bronyconvention" :)

Pony Brag Arena / My ponyroom

I was asked in the intro forum to post pictures of my collection.
So here are some pics for an impression because not everything is unpacked and put on shelves (G2 mostly) :)  And I am also shifting stuff to my living room and bathroom (blind bags) all the time.
Enjoy :)

Pony Corral / Re: Chance to publicly display your collection
« on: February 05, 2016, 01:30:27 AM »
Thats really cool that you can display your collection to the public.

I would check out what possibilities they have. If there is a chance people would touch it I would go for something common. First 6, castle, showstable, pretty parlour.
If its for a short period maybe a Valentine or Easter scene.
