Grr
« on: July 29, 2012, 05:06:06 PM »
I accidently clicked on my feedback- I hardly ever check it, but I saw someone left me a neutral.

Arrived quickly/no shipping damage, not even close to as nice as pony in photo
My Little Pony G4 Friendship is Magic Blind Bag Wave 1 One: Cherry Spices

Really? It was a blind bag, not like it had been used. They didn't even bother to contact me.

Here is what I sent:
Hi,
I'm glad your pony arrived in a timely manner. I didn't receive an email from you, but from your feedback there seems to be a problem. Can you let me know what is wrong so I have an opporunity to correct it?
Thanks

I know it sounds a bit snippy, but I'm angry. how am I supposed to correct problems if I'm not aware of them? Ug!

Doesn't sound snippy to me :) Hopefully they will work with you and you can maybe get that feedback revised.

I am sorry CA

I don' think your message sounded snippy at all, just to the point.  If there was an issue they should have contacted you to resolve it before feedback was left.  It seems to be becoming a common trend with newer buyers however.

Hopefully they get back to you and explain exactly what they meant by their "not as nice as photo comment" to warrent that neutral.  I am sure if they contacted you that you would have gone above and beyond to make it right.

Good Luck and hopefully you can get to the bottom of it.

Your message looks fine to me too   its very irritating that so many buyers lately leave bad feedback without even bothering to contact the seller first :(  I hope that she responds and you can sort things out with her. Maybe she will agree to revise that feedback for you

Sorry to hear of this!  There has been a LOT of buyer abuse occurring these days.  Personally, I think eBay should do away with a neutral and require a case to have been opened in order for the option for a negative feedback to be left.

Ah, no. That's not a good idea. What if the person just isn't happy because the shipping took too long? You don't want more crazy cases being opened.

However, I do think to leave a neg the buyer should have to contact the seller and wait three days.

How can a pony not be as nice in the auction when it was mib? :-/

Silly if you ask me. This recently happened to me. A neutral for no reason. However, the lady did admit that the item she thought was broken isn't actually broken. I just gave up on her and responded to the neutral on Ebay.

But hopefully your buyer will work it out with you. If not, be sure to respond and explain the problem. Sucks that she dinged your stars.

They did finally respond.

There are some weird little flakes (not quite flakes, but little areas of the body that have a texture. I don't quite know how to describe it) on her chest along with an odd circular mark on her right ear (the ear to my left) and some weirdness in the smoothness of her body.
It's not anything I've seen on a pony before, but since the blind bags aren't always the best in quality it doesn't completely surprise me.
I hope this little description helps.

I really don't know how to take that.

Haha, so it was a blind bag? How were you supposed to know?

Did she send a photo? I'm just wondering if this is a real issue as you said those tiny ponies usually aren't the best.

WTF lol.   i honestly would contact ebay and see if you can get it reversed  its a BLIND BAG pony. if she wants to be cross about it she should contact hasbro.  and it was probably a silly few dollar auction, does the buyer not realise how much a neutural hurts a sellers feedback?

Some buyers do not realize that a neutral hurts. After all, it is neutral. Neither good nor bad. I was one of those people.

Oh my lord, all this fuss over a BLINDBAG!!  Honestly.  If I were you, I'd tell her to return it and be done with this silly mess.  You've done nothing wrong hunny, and this is a Hasbro quality control problem.
