So after finally getting contact from creampuf, i recieved a pm on may 10th informing me that her basement had flooded and my custom along with some others had been ruined what did i want to do now? I would really like the custom but i dont want to wait another year for it to be finished. I sent a reply on the the same day but i have not had a response amd it has not been opened. I have sent a pm to ponylady but so.far no response and i dont know her fb can anyone help i just want this issue resolved

OK, I have now responded. I believe Emery knows how to contact her through FB.

Stormpony- I received the same pm:) I replied to creampuff saying that I would like her to complete the custom and was willing to wait,the pm I sent has been read.I didn't receive a reply back im just assuming that she is busy sorting everything out x

I received the same pm about the flooding, but she said mine wasn't ruined she wanted to send it, ive never received it or heard from her since.

What a pain Saja , I'm so sorry you still havent got your pony. It should have arrived by now if she'd sent it . If she hadnt been able to send it then she should have let you know :(

I asked her to remake mine as i really wanted him and she said in about a month or so but have had no contact since then

Yup. I really wanted the pony as it was modelled after my bird but its probly better to go for a refund and maybe get another customiser

Edit I sent creampuff a message and got a reply superfast explaining that my pony just needs rehairing but that might take some time due to RL issues which she did explain but id rather keep it private:) so It may be worth dropping her a PM if anyone else is still waiting for a update x

Seriously you need to leave appropriate feedback even if you do get the ponies. The amount of time you guys have been waiting is completely ridiculous and really should have been sorted a long time ago. I understand how disruptive it is to be flooded but geez I would have refunded my buyers and avoided all the aggro.
And now you are out of money as the PayPal deadline is passed. Not good! :(

PartyPony We commissioned her march last year(I think) so it has been a long time.I was well aware that my pony was going to take 12 months to complete creampuff did tell me upfront about that:) but its now been about 18 months lol x

As a customizer I will say that recently I've had a few lingering commission that took me well over a year to complete (one is still not done, but that's because I had to start completely over -_-). At the outset I could not have predicted they would take so long, but my life became far busier than I anticipated. So I certainly can't hold long working times against people - things happen to all of us, and art takes time.
But I am always available for questions and concerns and progress updates, and I think that's the key in a circumstance like this. Hopefully your artist keeps communicating with you, that's the important part :)

The bolder part is what I was trying to get at. You explained it much better NoD :) it's just awful when you have no communication and have to keep chasing people.

I understand people have real life issues, but if it starts to get out of control, the fair thing to do is refund the customers if you aren't able to complete the orders. It sounds like she has too much on her plate! Hope things get better for her.
Hope you get your ponies! :lovey: And hope the artist is able to get back on track.

I msgd her the other day for an update. She said she was on holidays with the family and would send me an update pic when she got back. Has anyone else had any contact with her about their commission?

Stormy sorry I didn't send you a picture yet...as I didn't get home from vacation until late Sunday night. Cherry was kind enough to send me a link to this forum post, that you were asking where I was. I'm sorry I didn't give you my full vacation itinerary and thus didn't give you the correct time frame as to when to expect something.
Of course in typical me fashion I forgot to snap a pic last night but will do so tonight.
You have not been forgotten and I'm working on your pony. If you absolutely cannot wait, I will happily give you a refund as I have stated before that I would.
Except for when the PM notices were going to my email spam folder and it really delayed any word from me, I've been relatively quick with contacting you back or giving you a heads up when problems ensued with my ability to customize.
I've stated numerous times I'm slow with customizing ponies because of many factors in my life and last year had to be one of the hardest years I have lived through. Is that an excuse for letting you and all my commissioners or fans down, heck no. It is however the basic truth and truth is all I have left to give.
Wicca I sent you an update last night and really sorry I couldn't make my hopeful goal of finishing up the pony before the holidays. Good intentions never finished a project and I'm sorry that my good intentions let you down.

I am waiting artistic direction from Stormy...sent a reply PM in January with color questions, no response.
I just recently remembered Saja's package and will have dropped it off at the post office yesterday.

I just responded to the msg creampuf. I didnt even realise that u were awaiting a response. The wait time for my custom has been 2 years this month so perhaps if u know a customer hasnt repsonded but definetely wants their long awaited custom a follow up pm wpuldnt have been too far out to do.

Nope The last time I heard from creampuf was on the 5th of march after I contacted her asking for a update she responded by saying she was send me a pic the next day but I didnt hear anything :(

The ponies were posted. I tried to get tracking numbers on them but the horrible old bat at the post office said they couldn't track anything international, especially once it crossed into another country.
I really don't know what to say. I'll dig around but I'm certain I still have my post office receipt and if I do I'll snag a pic of it.
