I've seen a picture of the back of the box and it says something like "Blossom and Cotton Candy love their tiny new friend Glory", it's cute.

oh wow, i don't care about double-ups now after seeing these, thanks for posting, it pays to keep an eye on this thread :) I usually watch the MLP Merch site for anything new but they haven't had anything g1 for a long time.
I hope they follow through with these and their packaging not like the plushys, they were advertised with nice packaging but didn't come with it :huh:
these are super cute and I can't wait especially knowing now that amazon Australia sends to NZ  :satisfied:

I only have the two versions of Cotton Candy, don't have the other five, but yes there are a couple of differences between the two releases :) I took a bunch of comparison pics, I'll stick them under a spoiler cut so as to not spam too much.

40th ann. might be slightly more peachy-pink than the previous release, not sure since the lighting in my pony room wasn't perfect when I was taking these.

Some slight differences, though with CC's spots it's kinda hard to tell how much of that is intentional ;)

Personally I think the new one has a sweeter expression.

The biggest/most obvious difference I could see is the eyes. Their eyes are completely different shapes, 35th ann is much more of an almond shape. Their eyelashes are also all different, especially the top two, which are a LOT smaller/thinner than the previous release.

And a little bonus... because I like comparing things...

25th ann. CC's hair is THICK, it's a real curtain of hair covering up her NDS eye. Everyone else's hair I could tuck behind their ear, but hers wasn't budging.

Poor 25th CC is more than a little wonky, and she kept wanting to tip over (I'll never understand why they gave the 25th anniversary ponies flat feet). Still love her, though :B

25th, 35th, 40th

35th and 40th have the exact same hoof stamps. The only difference is that serial number thingy on her front right, but that's different for every pony. (What does this signify again, anyone remember?)

Still kind of disappointed they decided against the "40th" symbols that showed up in promo photos, but I'm glad I got her anyway :)
Now if only I could fit all five on the shelf together :p Gonna have to figure out a new place for them!

im currently sunfading a big FS fluttershy and her yellow hasn't faded yet, though its taking forever here being winter, 
maybe just keep and eye on her, keep checking on it for any discolouration on her body colour.

i would pick sleepy pie but shes missing from the list :/ she's sentimental cos i had her as a kid, she was my first baby, by the time i could get one all the ones in the baby cotton candy wave had gone so there were only the bbe eyes in store LOL. i wasn't a fan of bbe as a kid but absolutely loved their cute accessories :D

same here, i was thinking the same, tinsel in hair, pearl on body, i would put glitter on  the head thingy's.
if i can get them here in nz i will be customising them to look like how they should be, basic funs is totally boring looking.
im glad they improved on the stretch mark looking bodies though :lol:

oh and it says on the celestial ponies promo pic, coming fall '23  :D awesome, so just a matter of time till we see...what i like to call the 'Stretch mark ponies" :lol:  :P pop up in stores.

gees, i really hope these blind bags are going to be global and not be like the later G4 bb sets when only certain ones only came out in europe and we had random waves coming to NZ, we missed out on so many i gave up.

im super excited about these, they look great though it looks like every unicorn pony comes in moondancer's elephant pose  :lookround: and spike is really big. looks like he just wants hugs  :lol:
