Excited about the weekend! House updates

I know its only Monday lol but iv been talking to my sister and trying to get her boys for a weekend lol.

Shes finally not busy and will be down here on Friday, so shes dropping off her oldest son Damien, whos pretty much best friends with my son lol. I wanted his brother too, but Richard is having his own sleep over so he cant come hang out. Id take them all, but the youngest is 1.5 and I dont think im ready for 3 hyper children and 1 toddler lol.

OK so I'm also just in a really good mood, im tired and my feet feel like theyre about to fall off, but I'm still in a good mood lol. I FINALLY finished my room!

I know I asked the arena a few weeks ago for color advice, and i sort of picked teal, except its more on the mint side, I wrestled with 3 teal/ish swatches for about a week, and in the end I just really loved this light mint color.

These pictures are really bad at showing the color because my lighting is crazy at the moment, but iv got all the big furnature moved in and thought id share. before i asked the arena for help, i was planning on painting the wall purple, which is why my bedding and rug are purple xD but i figured the room is already a weird collection of different textures and colors that i dont really care. I still love purple and teal and mint and its my room haha.

Still have some straightening up to do, and need to move in "stuff" but at least all the big things are were they need to be, and ill finally be able to sleep in my bed instead of the couch. xD

well anyway thats my update xD im glad that these projects are done, and im looking forward to the weekend. ^^ Also thanks for everyone's advice. I know the color isnt really close to the example i had put up, but it really did help me get an idea of the direction i wanted to go.

uuuggh i know i said today, I am going to miss those shelves! My dad built those for us when we moved in here, I was in 1st grade (yep iv lived here fora very long time lmfao im 27 now) soooo theyve been up there a long time. Anyway he built them so that our beds actually fit inside them, but those must have been just slightly smaller then most other twin sized beds because ill be danged if i can get another twin bed to fit  xD
