well i checked the local good will that is 45 min away and they have no toys.!

I guess between the anti lead law,  plastics  scare, and lawsuits they are no longer going to take toys for donations.

I have noticed that too! They now sale them online, kinda like Ebay. I guess they make more money that way. WWW.Shopgoodwill.com

Also some thrift stores stop selling toys due to parents thinking it is a playroom and letting their kids make a mess. Then when they leave they don't have the decency to pick up after them. The Savers near me always has a mess in toys.

That's weird. All the Goodwills near my area have toy sections still. The one has huge tags attached to some of the toys stating the whole lead law thing on them and how the toy is untested. I wonder if more Goodwills will be removing that section or if it's just some of them.

I've found that GoodWills are very dependent on what state/region they are in (completely different pricing and policies).  Around here, they are the best thrift stores for finding toys, but I've been to them in other states and found them to be rather pathetic.  I'm sorry to hear yours is going the way of no toys at all.   :(
