I went ahead and opened one of the Indoor bags, and they seem to be doing much better on that. So I'm guessing it's an issue with that one bag of Complete. Should I contact Target regarding it, considering I threw out the receipt and can't prove I bought it there?

In regards to possibly changing brands; I would love to try them on something higher quality, but with the number of cats I have I go through 35-40 pounds of dry food a month. :ack: So I don't think I could work anything too much more expensive into my budget without having to put myself on an all-ramen diet. XD Are there any brands that are both good for the cats and a bit easy on the wallet?
Tractor Supply stores carry a brand called 4Health- it comes in all grain free, or just no corn/wheat/soy. It's not extremely expensive, and comes in a bigger 18lb bag I think.

edit- It comes in a 16lb bag, and runs about $23 a bag. My cats have been doing well on it since I've had to switch them from a more expensive food.

I think flocking would look neat, if pulled off correctly.

And to answer my own question- As for extras- I don't really expect them, so just the custom is fine with me. Otherwise I like anything with chocolate; or small crafty things like stickers and whatnot.

Do you want your custom to still resemble a pony?  Is a repose or alteration ok?
I would rather it still *somewhat* resembled a pony, but if that's not gonna work with whatever idea your trying to work out, it's fine otherwise. Reposes/other alterations are ok.

Are boa feathers, twinkle eyes, added accessories ok?
Whatever you think it needs to be awesome! The only thing I'm really against is excessive glitter, as it flakes & gets all over.

Were items listed in any order on your list?
Not really, I'd be happy with anything on my list.

If there are specific characters listed, do you prefer transformation, cosplay or homage?
I think a cosplaying pony would be super cute! But whatever works, be creative!

If clothing is necessary, would you prefer it to be molded or removable (fabric)?
Either/or. If you decide to do fabric, it doesn't even have to be removable.

Is pony hair a must or is no hair ok if It fits the design?
No hair is fine if it fits the design.

how do you feel about other materials for the mane or tail? in order to achieve a particular texture using something like brushed yarn or other things either to replace or in addition to dolly hair?
I don't have any objections to different materials.



And now a question from me: Partner, as far as extra go which would you prefer- Edible goodies such as candy etc., or other types of little gifts?

Don't be sorry! I'm still learning new things all the time, and I've been collecting off and on for many years. It is a really neat piece, and pops up on e-bay fairly often. They're not usually super expensive, if the person knows what they're selling >_<,

Anyone have poses they really dislike?: I'm pretty much good with anything.

Base good with you partner?: A small-ish one would be fine. I don't have much room for anything too big.

Are you ok with small amounts glitter? It would be well sealed.: Small amounts of glitter are fine. I just don't want anything flaking off or too gaudy looking.


I know what I want to do; have a couple of baits to work with... but it looks like I'm fresh out of acetone :(  I'll have to make a stop at the store after work tomorrow. Tore the whole house apart looking for it, so now I have to clean instead of custom. :P

Firstly, I love New York, it's cool to see a fellow new yorker on here. And yes, I am interested, but it means I'd have to plow ahead in selling a couple things to get money for these items, that is unless you want to trade for some nirvana's I'm getting rid of
