Spoiler It's about time we finally got a body swap episode (unless if you count "A Royal Problem"). I'm willing to call Fluttershy in Angel's body "FlutterBunny", and Angel in Fluttershy's body "AngelShy". I liked this episode for the most part, so I'll just get the negatives out of the way first. I still find it a little weird that while in the sanctuary the predators aren't allowed to eat prey. Makes me wonder if animals would be willing to do damage to their health in order to stay in this haven. And the giraffe still sticks out like a sore thumb (or neck). Also I would have liked to see AngelShy interact with the other ponies. Missed opportunity in both character development and comedy. Now I've heard someone point out that Zecora was being careless in this episode as her body swap idea caused a lot of danger to both FlutterBunny and the animals at the sanctuary. But, keep in mind that she was intending for Fluttershy and Angel to be at home and not needing to do stuff first before taking the potions. That said, I wonder if she knew they had already switched bodies when FlutterBunny came to her hut and was nearly killed by an eagle. If she did, then she should have escorted her back. The rest of the episode I thought was entertaining enough, and does shed a little bit of light on why Angel is such a needy little brat. And I absolutely love how Andrea Libman was able to subtly change the mannerisms in her Fluttershy voice without giving it up completely. That's hard to do. That line about "wanting to marry Discord" though. I'm willing to believe this was just AngelShy taking a jab at Fluttershy and her friendship with Discord. But, yeah, one could imagine. Last thing I want to mention was the scene between Antoine the python and Muriel the baby elephant. When AngelShy gave Antoine's cookies to the fire lizard and he slithered away menacingly, I was like "No way...they're not going to show that...not in MLP..." Yeah, that freaked me out a little bit. In the end, a pretty good episode. Nothing fantastic, but a fairly solid one.

I like that we skipped 2 4 6 Great. I had a whole rant ready to post, but I think just not acknowledging it whatsoever is better.
Yeah, I was going to do this sooner, but I got a bad case of procrastination. Anywho, the title could easily be read in a sarcastic tone, and that's very fitting as this episode is not a pleasant watch at all. If you wanted more reason to dislike Rainbow Dash, you've gotten a lot more. I am trying to see it from her perspective; that it would be frustrating to be pulled aside to be part of something you don't care for when something you love is going on next door. But unfortunately this throws quite a bit of continuity and character development right out the window. At the same time though, has Rainbow ever really had any solid growth in her character lately? I hear a lot of people say that this isn't what she's normally like and that it's out of character. But, is it really? She's been a self-centered jerk numerous times, so it's hard to say. I'm baffled we got two Buckball episodes this seasons, and I still see the sport as nothing but glorified pony pong. XP This is also probably the most focus we've had on Snips probably season 1. And you know it's embarrassing when Snips is the reasonable one compared to their coach. I'm still not a big fan of Smolder, but I can appreciate her seeing right through Dash's bull-putty. Twilight pulling a Celestia at the end is a little amusing. Even she knows that Rainbow Dash is a bratty child at heart that refuses to grow up. It's a little off-putting that Celestia's magic school students who were kind of at a disadvantage still won at the end. Lastly, on a similar note, is everypony just deathly afraid of balls? Overall, unimpressive and rather mean-spirited episode, not even very entertaining unlike the next episode.

Well, we're at FiM's final stretch now. Judging by both my opinions and those of others, this episode is almost unanimously seen as "okay". It's not great, but it's not awful either. It is nice to see Cheese Sandwich again. Weird Al is just a gem. Even Sans Smirk I kinda liked. He may be cold and calculated, but he is caring and supportive. I did like how they explored some of the aspects of comedy, particularly with the fact that there are people that have a hard time laughing unless others around them are laughing. A bit like myself actually. Some of the jokes, while not really making me burst out in laughter, were pretty clever in their own right; like the banana peel that slips into you. All that said, I get the feeling many have the same issue they did with "Applejack's Day Off", where most of the episode is rather underwhelming. Though I think it works better here since that is the point of the story. Also I wasn't fully onboard with Pinkie needing to find her "life's purpose". It felt a bit forced, like they only included it because fans have been asking what her goal is. Also, wow, way to throw shade at AJ like that. Personally, I don't think a character needs a life goal in order to be interesting. It depends on the kind of story you're telling. Lastly, the song was nice...on it's own. But it sounds too similar to the songs we got in Pinkie Pride. All in all, it was alright. Take it or leave it.

Posting this a little bit early, as I've already seen the Italian/English airing. http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,395481.0.htmlAnyway, I'm going to start with the fact that... Spoiler Scootaloo has a house?! And she's not an orphan?!Okay, that last one we kinda already knew from "Parental Glideance", but really this episode finally addresses Scootaloo's family relations; something we've been wanting for years now. Anywho, this was a very heartfelt episode with some well deserved tears. That whole scene where they just cry their eyes out in the clubhouse was great (and certainly more effective than Tanks for the Memories ). Scootaloo's parents are alright and reasonable, albeit a tad oblivious to Scootaloo's sorrow. I hear their designs are supposed to be a reference to Jurassic Park, and I can believe that given their occupations. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThough if anything, I got more of a Hey, Arnold! vibe from them, if you know what I mean and I've hardly seen that show. The ending was sweet too; seeing all the characters they have affected. It really felt like the ultimate culmination of the Cutie Mark Crusaders as a whole. And can I just say that Aunt Holiday is so precious and huggable? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAlso, no joke, for a moment I thought Auntie Lofty was First Folio from "The Point of No Return". visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginAll in all, a lovable episode. It didn't it got quite as much of a reaction out of me as "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" did, but I think it was suitable for what may be the final CMC episode. Sorry if my thoughts were rushed, and obviously they are very subject to change. I'll probably comment further once I have given it more thought and hear what you guys think.

Don't worry, I won't be posting any spoilers here. For those who are not aware, Cartoonito has been airing new episodes of MLP:FiM in Italy. I've watched a few of them in the Italian language, but it turns out that they actually come with English audio as well. Yes, the official English voices. Episodes 9 to 13 have already aired over there, but it looks like the mid-season hiatus has taken effect there now? For those who love Cyan Worlds' games (Myst, Riven, Obduction, etc), or just exploring worlds in general, I highly recommend looking into this campaign. It's a new game with a steampunk aesthetic. My two older sisters, plus my younger sister, had My Little Pony toys growing up. They don't play with them anymore, so I figured I would show them to you guys. I'm a little unfamiliar with some of the names of these toys though. If anyone can name them, I would appreciate it. EDIT: Added a couple G3 playsets. EDIT: Updated on the next page. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

Greetings, everypony! I may not be the biggest fan of My Little Pony in general, but it definitely gives me a special charm. Among my favorite things are animation, comedy, fantasy, and programming. I hope I may move forward in what I can do, both here and throughout the world!
