Netflix and Hulu which I share with my mom. Netflix wants to prevent password sharing which is so dumb.

Amazon Prime Video comes with my Prime account. There's some good stuff on there.

Peacock Premium and Disney+ come with my cable internet.

Free services I use frequently are Tubi, IMDB and Pluto. I've been thinking of getting Discovery+ for myself too. Mainly for the ID channel content and animal stuff.

Netflix, Prime Video because I also have Prime, like BC. Crunchyroll. Hidive, literally only because Saiyuuki Zeroin was airing on it, although some things moved there from CR too now. It has a horrible interface and I don't really like it at all. But anyway.

Then all the free catch up services for channels here, like BBC Iplayer, ITV's one, C4+, and UKTVplay.

I did have Disney+ for a while but I had to work out what I was really using and so for now that one has gone.

I also had Funimation in the past but that's basically pointless now...

Oh, I used Discovery+ during the Olympics. But resented stuff being on there. I prefer it being all on BBC and C4. I really hope the unnecessary privatisation of C4 isn't going to destroy their paralympic coverage.

I keep getting offers for Britbox, but I don't want it. :/ I don't like how a lot of the shows that used to be on Prime etc are now on that. I don't need another subscription, and frankly, don't watch enough tv in English at the moment to merit it.

Netlifx, HBOMax, Hulu, SlingTV. We're thinking about canceling Netflix since we don't really watch anything but Seinfeld and they raised the price. I would rather just buy shows I like and not pay for all of these services. Podcasts have replaced a lot of my tv time and I literally watch the same few shows over and over.

I pay for Hulu and Prime and then I share Netflix and Disney+ with my parents. Since we’re only paying for two services in each household it’s not too bad, but with Netflix wanting to stop password sharing idk. Their originals really aren’t that good anymore and they hardly have anything else worth watching so we may cancel that one.

I just hope the other streaming services continue to allow password sharing. The steaming game has almost gotten as bad as cable at this point. I don’t want to pay for like, 5 different services!

I have Netflix, Hulu and Crunchyroll.  If I could take on another streaming service, it would probably be Disney +.

Out of the three I do have I find myself on Crunchyroll most often, but I also have a lot of stuff on my Netflix watch list that I keep meaning to get back to. Even though I haven't watched anything on Hulu for a long time, I'm not ready to stop subscribing to it yet.

We share ours with our parents. They have Netflix and Dish Anywhere, and we have Disney+, Hulu, and Prime. We also use Tubi, Roku channel, IMBd tv, Pluto, Crackle, Vudu and Movies Anywhere. There may be some other free ones we use too. My husband is considering getting AMC temporarily, so he can watch the last season of TWD. I had whichever subscription has ST Picard and Discovery for awhile but didn’t get into those shows as much and canceled them.

I'm the opposite with Netflix, I watch it more now than I used to, because they upped their quota of Asian shows. I'm basically over most stuff the UK currently churns out, tv show wise, because it's all 'hard hitting drama' nonsense, and I'm also kind of done with import shows from the US since none of the newer ones are at all appealing to me (see again, the 'hard hitting drama' theme).

I have a lot of older shows from both places that I love, and I own on DVD, but it's been a long time since a show made in the West has grabbed my attention more than one episode.

...I didn't watch Squid Game, because I'm not a drone who watches something because everyone else is watching it, and I didn't like the concept of it in the slightest. But I do watch a lot of asian drama and other shows on there, in various languages.

Until they started doing that...I rarely used netflix and was considering cancelling it.

BUT I think here is the core issue with Netflix. I feel like it's catering really well to niche audiences but at risk of losing its mainstream ones by doing that, too. I love watching shows in other languages and don't need subs for the Japanese ones. But I know a lot of people who only ever watch TV in English, and who don't like watching in other languages because of subs and stuff or bad dub quality. SO...yeah.

Personally I'd rather have netflix as it is now than it was 5 or 6 years ago. But whether it can realistically survive in the West like that I don't know.

All that said, CR is the streaming service I use most, followed probably by iplayer, because BBC on my cable box often breaks up and I end up having to watch on that. Netflix is probably now third.

yeah i'm not really into the hard hitting drama/prestige shows. i listen to quite a few podcasts that talk about political issues and read a lot about history, revolutions, inequality. for my tv time i just want something funny. the concept of Squid Game seems interesting. but i feel like we're already living a dystopian nightmare in so many ways. tv needs to be my escape. though maybe for some it's cathartic.

i don't really watch the hyped shows either. it feels like work when i feel like i need to watch something because everyone is talking about it.
