Suspicious NC Moonstone?

(1/1)

Amebaby:
I grabbed this girl online because all evidence suggests to her being Spanish No Country Moonstone, lesser eye quality, glitter-free symbols, lack of country stamp.

But I took a closer look at her hood tonight, I think I see what looks like remnants of a HK stamp, can anyone tell?

some other images of her, just to give a better idea

definitely see the remnants of an "ong" there, but it's really hard to tell. i suppose if it were a "no country" moonstone it'd be weird to have something resembling the Hong Kong stamp still there.
not sure if it's supposed to be like that bc any images online don't show any angles of her hoof. but i did find https://fakiespaceman.com/toyblog/2020/08/22/no-country-spain-ponies/ 2nd pony down. & i see no indents besides some gross stuff on the same hoof. maybe that'd give some insight?

Amebaby:
it’s really weird, it’s almost as if someone started stamping her until they released they weren’t supposed to, and then tried covering it up.

she’s completely like my other NC pony outside of that though, even the head glue feels the same.

This is normal :) it is normal to also find variety in how "good" or "bad" the stamps/removal of them since more than one mold was used and the quality of the removal varies from mold to mold.

Many ponies made in other countries have badly or partly removed hoof stamps (Greece, South Africa, Argentina Colombia to name a few). In fact the German Princesses look REALLY fishy in some cases due to the PAT PEND mark being so badly removed it looks like part of the hoof has been gouged out and they were manufactured in China so were official release rather than made under license.
