Can I see your sculpted clothes customs?

I'm going to finish my golden pheasant custom, but before that I have an idea that won't go away

I have never actually sculpted clothing before, not really. I did armor but that's different. I'm looking for full outfits. Bonus points if you've ever sculpted a dress.

This will be on a G1, I think. I need to dig through my baits. If not a G1 then a G3 for sure.

I used Apoxie for all three and just supported the areas like Marilyn's skirt and Jack's coattails with paper towel until they were cured.  I was actually getting pretty good at using Apoxie and then I abandoned ponies for several years and now I have to learn all over again to do the sweater on my commission!   

I'm interested to know what your idea is now!

I'm not a fan of sculpt4ed clothes. I'd rather the cloth ones you can take off & put on. But that's just me

I'm actually working on trying to develop some clothing patterns for ponies...in all of my spare time!   

I'll post here if I manage to get anywhere with it.

I've made a few other dresses but those have been simpler with only a skirt. And the skirt part is always more like a trail anyway.

Papier mache sounds cool, I look forward to the results! Paper is such a versatile material and I love using it on my customs. The one above has a paper armature under the clay. The sculpting was done with Apoxie.

I have to admit, I'm really intrigued to see what you do with the paper mache.  I can't imagine sculpting with that medium on something the size of a pony!  What gen are you planning to use?
