like other, more teenage/adult 'creepy' dolls (I'm trying to remember the doll line, they came in coffin-shaped boxes? I keep thinking Living Dead Dolls but maybe not?

Hestia maybe? Obscure doll line by Groove, same people that make Pullips. I think the first wave of those came in coffin boxes, and they had glass eyes.

What happened to Cave Club was just tragic. The dolls weren't my style personally, but I liked the idea behind them (always great to see something different instead of Yet Another generic doll line with normal human girls wearing everyday clothes), and then they got defanged... literally. Awful.
