Many years ago I found a brown My Pretty Pony at a thrift shop for less than $5. I never have seen another in the wild since! She still winks and swishes her tail with the trigger under her chin. I think it's a cool piece of MLP history :)

the cashier at a thrift store let me have Oakly for free

My sister was a magnet for stuff like that when we were originally carbooting. She was what, 8 or 9 I think at the time and has always been small for her age, and so I guess people thought she was younger. She used to get things given her for free all the time. Ponies. Princess Dragons. Carebears. You name it.

Oh wait, I remembered one.
I was at a local convention a number of years ago and noticed a G1 Sunlight standing on a shelf in someone's booth. I was too shy to ask about it to I got my friend to ask for me. The guy at the booth let me have her for free! Not a super rare pony but I was surprised he just handed her to me!

Excuse me, what are these "princess dragons" you're talking about? I absolutely adore girly dragon toys and that sounds just like that!

No, I meant the dragons that came with the princess ponies xD Sorry. She was always getting them given to her as freebies. :)
