Hello from the PNW

Hello All

I had another account on here a couple years ago but I cant find it so I made a new one! My  name is Brittany and I live in Washington State. I was super into G1 mlp as a child (have tons of pics and videos) and my family thinks it was the start of my obsession with horses ( I rode growing up an now have a horse and a pony)!!

I was lucky enough to have my parents save a lot of my childhood toys , including all of my MLP and my lavender dreamcastle! About 5 years ago I randomly became interested in my ponies again and for some reason started collecting them ( a little too agressively I might add) I cut back because i was spending too much money and running out of places to put them.. LOL

I now have a new house with a huge bookcase room that the previous owners left for us.. Im hoping in the next year or two to finally get my collection organized and displayed properly.

I ONLY collect G1's- I have most of the non mail order USA ponies.. my most prized/ rare ponies are my Mommy and Baby Beachy Keen, my Greek MIB's, my MIB hairdo ponies,  my uk  nurse ponies with original hats, and my mommy pony with the tiny twin babies.  I have a few nirvanas- but definitely want to add more to my collection over the years going forward.. Im super jealous when I see pics of some of the rare ones .. they are so beautiful!

I really enjoy " restoring" ponies/ cleaning them and making their hair look good again.. not re-hairing ( I havent gotten that far) but deep cleaning and giving them extreme " spa days." lol

Looking forward to reading more on here/ seeing more of all of yalls ponies!

Also- I have yet to ever find a pony in the wild- that is my ultimate dream too!

So good to hear that you still had your childhood ponies and the lavender dream castle (lucky duck!).  Look forward to seeing you around here :)
